I liked the modern look & cleanliness of the room. The bed was great & I slept well. In general the place was quite too.

The complimentary breakfast food, scrambled eggs & sausage were not good. The yogurt & muffin were good. There was no bottled water. There were little sewer Flys in the bathroom that were annoying, the tub wouldn't drain well when I showered & the handsoap bottle was empty. I am not a complainer & these things didn't prevent me from enjoying my stay. Oh, upon checkout the employee at the desk was asleep, lol. Despite these minor things, will definitely stay here again.

I liked the people working the counter and the staff.

I had a problem with the manager. I was changing the date for my stay and she didn't want to help me because I booked the room through a third party. She told me they were sold out and hung up on me. I could not find a number for Booking.com which led to additional frustration. I finally got it resolved. On the other hand, the next week I stayed at the Hampton in Litchfield, IL which was perfect. I was amazed at the contrast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When needing something like extra towels/blankets they got right on it. Breakfast was hot and delicious. The pull out sofa bed was surprisingly very comfortable.

Check in took a while. They did not know my family was coming, and said using this platform was horrible in letting them know. The swimming pool was not the cleanest and smelt not great. They had bananas sitting with mold growing on them.

Breakfast was good, staff was great,bed was comfortable, location to Shawnee national park was good.

This hotel changed management and in doing so, inherited some problems that they acknowledged and are working to address. The staff was wonderful and and sympathetic and did the best they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Convenient to the college . The king bed mattress was very comfortable.

The bathroom barn door would roll open instead of staying closed. The tub floor was slippery due to the bottles dripping and not being washed away by the shower head. No towel rack by the shower means you have to step out to reach the towel over the sink.

We had an issue with the key cards and the room had a bad smell so the manager moved us to a different room. The breakfast was delicious, we loved that they had pumpkin flavored waffle batter!

Breakfast was better than Indianapolis. The room was clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly.

We were in room 223. The hot water was scalding. I burned my leg checking the temperature of the water coming out of the tub faucet. My leg is fine, however this needs to be fixed before an elderly person gets in the tub and really gets burned.

The hotel common areas were very clean. The pool and hot tub worked well and were very clean and pleasant. The breakfast was very good. It was a hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, oven potatoes, bacon, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit, muffins, and great coffee. It was the best hotel breakfast I've had in 5 years. On top of that, the staff that served breakfast was so friendly and helpful. They were working hard to keep the food in full supply and I could tell they took pride in their work. They had great attitudes, were approachable, and were eager to help!

While the hotel was very pet friendly, the extra fee for pets was too expensive. $50 for 2-4 nights, $75 for 4+ nights. In our apartment, we pay $100 a month for a pet fee. Our dog is clean and calm. There was nothing that required an extra $50 to clean or repair after our stay with our dog. In fact, I would say that our room could have been cleaner before we checked in. There were hairs in the shower and on the floor. Also, the carpet felt sticky, perhaps carpet detergent that hadn't been rinsed out? And as always, there were details in the hotel room that look like they haven't been cleaned in 6 months, like the corners of the floors/walls and lighting in the bathroom.

The pool was great. The bed was really comfy. We sprung for a king suite for extra space, and it was worth the price. Nice to have a couch to sit on and relax in the room. Can't really speak on the free breakfast in the morning as we skipped it to get in one more play session in the pool before checking out.

The floor in our room felt dirty. There weren't obvious food crumbs or debris on the floor or anything, but it just had that feeling of a high traffic carpet. Vacuuming will only get a carpet so clean. I think it was just due for good carpet shampoo. Other than that, everything else was very clean. The bathroom looked very thoroughly cleaned, and the towels and bedding looked nice and bright white.

The staff was all very nice and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve seen, with many options. I didn’t catch her name, but the woman running breakfast was very nice and seemed to enjoy her job.

The only thing I didn’t care for - which wasn’t really even that bad - we did see a few bugs in our room. Cricket and a couple spiders. Nothing repulsive, just made me think they were due for a spraying.
