One of the standout features of Hotel Blake is its prime location, which places it within convenient walking distance of all major attractions in the area. Additionally, the presence of a diverse array of dining options, cafes, a salon, and a spa in close proximity to the hotel adds a layer of convenience and luxury to the overall experience. My mornings at Hotel Blake were a true delight, thanks to the exceptional breakfast served at Meli Cafe. It's safe to say that it was one of the best breakfast experiences I've ever had, and it set a positive tone for the rest of my days in the city. Upon entering my room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the comprehensive array of amenities provided. From the inclusion of an iron and ironing board to the thoughtful provision of an umbrella, it was evident that the hotel had taken great care to ensure that guests' needs were not only met but exceeded. The bathroom, in particular, exuded an air of luxury and elegance that added a touch of indulgence to my stay. Small Wardrobes but that doesn’t bother me

Good location, nice coffee and gym.

Cleaning staff seemed offended that I didn’t want them to clean my room daily.

Even the cool shape of the lamps in the rooms set Hotel Blake apart as the destination Hotel in Chicago under $200 a night. Everything about the place was exceptional. Service outstanding. The Bell actually found Super Glue to do a quick repair on my sunglasses! Gino's East, the famous deep dish pizza place, is right across the street! The River Walk is a mile and a half away. The famous Gage restaurant is a 16 minute walk. the Art Institute also close by within walking distance. Downtown Chicago in the springtime is like no other place on the planet. The next time we're in town this is the place we'll stay.

Valley parking was expensive but convenient. You might want to try to do some research on a parking garage close by but be careful. You can end up spending more going someplace else with much less security. Also, if you don't like Coffee-Mate bring your own half and half. A 7-Eleven is 250 ft away.

The room is spacious, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Perfect for a solo or couple's stay. The bathroom is also spacious and there's plenty of room for two people to use. I love that it was comfortable and quiet. The wifi is great. The view is nice. As far as the amenities, the common spaces, business center, and breakfast/coffee room is super cute and welcoming. Great for working remotely. And Meli Cafe next door is one of my fav restaurants in the city!

The location is nice, but not super close to some of the other things I like (the riverwalk, riverwest, millennium park, etc). It's a very reasonable walk from those places in the summer when the weather is nice, but can feel a bit far in the colder months.

Rooms were spacious, clean and nice decor. The staff were very welcoming and made our stay quite enjoyable. Location was great and convenient. I would highly recommend and would stay there again.

I went to Chicago for a business trip. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short distance from the Jackson subway stop. With plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, finding dining options was very easy. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a very comfortable bed for a restful stay. The friendly and helpful staff added to the positive experience and were always ready to assist when needed. My flight was at night, and it was very convenient that I could leave my suitcases at the hotel for free after checking out in the morning. The complimentary internet worked smoothly, allowing me to hold a videoconference with three participants without any issues. Mornings started on a good note with free coffee available in the lobby, a thoughtful touch.

Nothing, everything met my expectations.

I can not say enough good things about Hotel Blake. We stayed for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were concerned about parking. The closest parking garage we could find was going to cost $70 a night. One of the employees that goes by the name of Showtime was beyond helpful in getting us a much better deal. He showed me an app to download that allowed us to get 3 days of parking under $65 that was the same distance as the other parking area if not closer. All of the employees at Hotel Blake were kind and helpful but Showtime was exceptional. He was quick to give food and entertainment recommendations and was always sure to greet us and make sure we were having a great time. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location and was also the cheapest option in the surrounding area. It was close to everything that we needed and events we had planned during our stay. I have never written a review before but this one was well deserved. Thank you to all the staff that helped make our trip special.

The hotel is located in a convenient place and it is easily accessible by Blue Line. It takes only 3-4 minutes to get from the station to the hotel. The cafe next to the hotel is very good for breakfast as the hotel does not have a breakfast facility. The hotel offers free water, coffee and tea next to the reception, which is quite good. There is a CVS, Starbucks and several other cafes within walking distance.

The room was excellent except the mosquito dead on my bathroom, I expect the cleaning lady will get it but during my four day stay mosquito stay on the floor :)

We were only in Chicago for 1 night and booked this property at random while on the Amtrak from Urbana. I’m so glad we decided to stay here! The property is centrally located, within walking distance of restaurants bars and main tourist attractions ( the bean is a 15-20 min walk). We got an amazing room, very spacious, comfy bed and the best part was the lamps ! They have some really unique lamps in their rooms …very artsy. In the evening we wanted to visit Buddy Guys Legends bar, a must-go if you are in the area. We ended up catching Buddy Guy on stage that night 🙌 the man, the legend himself ! The bellman ‘Showtime’ is part of the Hotel Blake experience!! He’s so friendly, knows all the bars in the area and gives the best recommendations. We got a free round of drinks at Buddy Guy legend because of him 😊 All in all definitely a great stay, will be coming back for sure !

Very nice facility with helpful and friendly staff and great customer service. The bellhops were extremely fun and eager to help with our luggage. One bellhop was helpful in sharing where to go and how to get there in downtown Chicago.

A male employee entered our room without knocking at 11 pm. He said it was a mistake. Also, it took too long to get our car from the valet. After complaining to management about these things, they apologized. After cleaning it, they left an apology note, with some snacks in the room. They also adjusted the cost of one night of our stay and didn't charge for the valet parking. I was satisfied with the response from customer service.
