I really appreciate the staff. Front desk lady was kind enough to give a room on first floor when I requested as well as check us in a little early. The hotel staff was overall very respectful, helpful & kind. The room was a great size, bed & pillows was sooo comfortable and both room & hotel was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was very good, lots of decent options. Loved the waffles Comfort Suits Inn in general never disappoint.

The internet was down for bit but not that much of an issue. It would have been nice to have breakfast style potatos as one of the options to have with eggs on couple of the days as we don't eat pork.

The coffee was great, lobby and breakfast area very clean, location was very convenient, everyone was nice, quiet & peaceful, room was very spacious and well furnished, bed was comfy and the shower was hot and had ample pressure.

The cleaning could’ve been a bit better in the room but was terribly bad. There were long black hairs on & in the sink in the bathroom. The bath drain was clogged when we got there (my boyfriend unclogged it), the bathroom door also couldn’t latch closed or lock because it seems as though the door had been kicked in once upon a time and the repair job didn’t allow for the latch to work anymore. There was also a full sunchip right under the bed. I didn’t look too deep after that but otherwise it was fine.

The hotel was a great location, close to the volleyball tournament we were attending. One reason why it was selected along with having breakfast and a pool. Room clean, fully stocked, comfortable, spacious. Lobby, hall areas, and the second floor were clean. Close to restaurants, gas station, Starbucks etc.

What I didn't like was the times breakfast was served. Start time was too late we weren't able to eat breakfast on a Saturday at 7am. We were able to eat breakfast Sunday at 9a however it closed promptly at 10am. My suggestion is have fruit and packaged muffins out earlier before hot breakfast is served. The pool water and pool area was extremely cold, you have to ask for pool towels. Front desk stated they were waiting on pool area repair. Second floor ice machine was broken as well.

This facility has an overall good, welcoming vibe- the building has a modern build & included appliances such as a mini fridge, coffee maker, TV & microwave in the suites. This leaves a cozy vibe in the rooms..which is always a good feeling when you’re traveling.🙂This hotel is also located in a great area set up for fun with the family (and also very close to connivence stops that come along with traveling as well) such as the Shell on the corner and the strip mall of restaurants on the whole same side of the block; They have a nice pool for fun swimming & they also have an awesome morning breakfast. The staff at this location are all incredibly kind & helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable place to stay near Elgin..whether it’s for one night or a whole week, they will take care of you! I appreciate all the hardwork from the staff given during my stay. Thank you Meredith & Lissette, y’all are the best! 😊💟

The people I encountered were all very nice. The facility was clean and well cared for.

My stay was 7 days and I found the fact that the only drawer was in the single bedside table frustrating as I was forced to live out of my suitcase. My bathroom was presumably accessible but the single grab bar was outside of the shower. As a very short person I found the adjustable shower head perfect at its tallest but anyone over 4’10”would surely be frustrated.

The staff were excellent and friendly.

The first night in room 322 was unpleasant. The wind howled in the air conditioning unit and made sleep difficult. My night stand light did not work and I couldn't read. The bathroom sink only had hot water. We were moved to room 219 and the rest of the stay was very good.

The quality of the place was good.

They charged me a different amount. A higher amount than booking.com. That should not be allowed to happen. If booking.com charges you a certain amount, then comfort inn should honor that or not allow booking.com to represent them. And because of that I will not longer stay at Comfort Inn. They have got to take accountability.

Room size was great. Stayed 4 nights. Convenient to highway, stores, family. We will return in the future.

Reported a few ants in room. Waited for someone to come up as I was told to spray. No one showed. Again next day. Same. A few ants in eating area also. There was an inspection by the owners while we were there. They were not told evidently. The ants are harmless I get, but who wants them? To return we will inspect room first. Then on the weekend, the pool was closed for maintenance. That is when children were at the hotel. 🤔

The best breakfast buffet that we've ever encountered in a chain hotel. Great options for everyone and a very attenetive attendant. The decorating seemed new and nice, but I don't know why they bothered with carpeting under the bed area. Laminate is so much easier to maintain.

There wasn't a bedside tabel on both sides of the bed to put glasses, jewelry and reading material. I had to put them on the floor because I couldn't quite reach the desk. We would prefer a walk in shower. The tub was older and could be replaced.

I have yet to have a problem when I stay here this is my go to spot . I will always stay here very time I’m in town. it is very reasonable price , clean …. Has a pool and does breakfast. GREAT PLACE OVER ALL !! Everything is close by !
