Beds very comfortable, room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub was great. Offered appetizers and drinks which consisted of many BLTs and Mini, ham and cheese sandwiches potato chips two kinds of beer, two kinds of wine and coffee or lemonade from five p.m. to seven p.m. breakfast was served and had a huge selection. Every employee I met was very friendly and helpful.

The pool ladder to the deep end was very loose, the couch mattress needs replaced in the room we have stayed in. It had springs poking you all night. The toilet had a leaking back. But overall it just needs a couple things done that probably have not been noticed yet.

This hotel is right on the southern approach to Springfield, Illinois on historic Rt 66 and near some historic Route 66 restaurants. The staff was friendly on check in and the next day, offering suggestions about parking in the city. Breakfast was Excellent both days with real scrambled eggs, different flavors for the waffle maker, different types of breads for toast, multiple juice options, other breakfast items, and a refreshing jug of lemon water in the lobby. The room was comfortable and overlooked the front parking lot where my car was. I was able to open a window for fresh air instead of A/C which I prefer. I think I got an accessible room, because the bathroom was Very large and spacious with bars on all walls and items set lower. At check out, there were two sheriff vehicles out front, but not for a bad reason. They were having breakfast and a meeting and took a picture with my son in the lobby. Getting into downtown was a quick drive up the road without having to make any turns until in the actual downtown area. Very easy and convenient. The pool was nicely shaped and quite warm, the hot tub was large and hot.

The pool has a very low ceiling, and it seemed that the chlorine was intense in the smaller space. The hotel is on a frontage road with access from two intersections, one to the north and one to the south. I missed this more than once which meant I had to go past the hotel in order to turn around and get onto the frontage road. Not a huge deal, just a little confusing.

The room was amazing for the price, the pool area was clean, they have great amenities…gym, hot tub, pool, breakfast. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, lots of variety offered! Staff was very friendly. I didn’t take any photos but the room we got was the 1 king, kitchen and common area and it looked just like it did online!

The only thing that was frustrating was check out is 11 and at about 9 an employee let herself in our room… luckily we were up and decent. She apologized and said she didn’t know anyone was in that room…. I just wonder how she didn’t know. I would think they would check that before cleaning, or was she coming in for something else?! Either way… hopefully that was just a misunderstanding. I will definitely be going back so there’s that! Probably soon too, just as a weekend get away.

The front desk staff and breakfast staff were awesome! Very professional and courteous. I loved the Managers Reception from 5-7pm. There were appetizers and beer/wine/soda, etc. - ALL COMPLIMENTARY! My room and bathroom were absolutely spotless, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. During my stay, it was quiet--except for occasional noise from the road that's not the hotel's fault. Otherwise, it was pretty quiet for my entire stay. There's a pool and a hot tub, but I didn't get to enjoy it, because I was working most of the time. The breakfast was wonderful--a great start to my day. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits/gravy. Also, a waffle maker, assorted yogurts, cereal, fruit and breads. Coffee, milk and juice were available for drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Nothing--I was very satisfied with my experience.

We liked the suite as the bedroom was separated with its own door. So children could nap and the rest of our family could be in the sitting room at the same time. We liked that the crib was provided in our room before arrival. Breakfast and the swimming pool was enjoyed by all.

The ice machine needed fixed on our 2nd floor. But we managed by getting ice on the 3rd floor.

Front desk staff were very friendly! Beds and pillows were comfortable and smelled clean. The pool was nice and cool. Breakfast tasted good. Great location!

Breakfast was good, but some items were low, and the staff seemed irritated when asked to fill. One staff member was overhead saying, "If you keep filling it, they'll keep eating." Guests shouldn't have to ask for more food. They should be filled before they're empty. Not everyone can get up at 6 am. to eat. Other than that, the food was delicious. Also, we couldn't get the hot tub to work.

They had a delightful mixer at 5-7pm with 2 complimentary alcohol beverages and small snack of pita chips and artichoke/spinach dip. It was a very nice amenity!

The tub had a bench seat that made it impossible to have a tub soak. Was really looking forward to a bath but it was uncomfortable

Me and my family enjoyed the comfort and quiet of the location, as well as the amenities.

The lighting in our particular room was substandard. There needs to be ceiling lighting as well as lamps, instead of just a few table lamps.

The Staff was very nice and helpful me and my family was in town for a funeral they made our stay comfortable they also offered free refreshments and finger foods which was wonderful after a long drive definitely recommend close to interstate and a number of restaurants and shopping

Staff were friendly, Courteous and tried to fix the problems at hand.

Sofa sleeper was broken, head of sleeper leaned in toward the floor. When grandson attempted to lay on it the bed started to roll up with him on it. Thank God he's older and not a small child who could have been hurt. Both phones did NOT work.
