The check in was fast staff was friendly I liked that everyday we seen the house keepers cleaning on our floor and was in the rooms for a good amount of time to really clean the rooms

That the house keepers didn't give you enough time to get dressed to open before opening the door to your room just to ask if you need anything they knock with the key card once and open the door I was still sleep and my boyfriend had jumped out of his sleep when he heard the door open to say hold on let me get dressed. There is no breakfast there have to go to Crackle Barrel for that and no coffee pot in room or ice chest so you have to have your own big cup to go to the lobby to get ice

We have stayed at this Motel 6 many many times when we traveled to Springfield to participate in a triathlon at Lake Springfield in July. It is a good location to get to the park where the triathlon activities take place, and since we usually stay just one night, the value and amenities are attractive.

We need and requested a late checkout and the person at the desk gave us a "lecture" since we stayed a bit longer showering after the triathlon. That is a BIG mistake on the part of motel 6. We do not want to pay for an extra day to have a checkout after 11 AM. We would be willing to pay something fair.

I had a pleasant stay at Motel 6. The room was clean and comfortable; with everything I needed for a short stay. After coming from a hotel with a terrible Wi-Fi connection, I was relieved to find the Wi-Fi here was reliable and adequate for my needs. The room also had a microwave, which was a great convenience. Another plus was the ample parking space—plenty of room and easy access, which made coming and going hassle-free.

The location wasn’t the most convenient for my needs. Also, the bathing soaps provided were quite small and didn’t lather easily, which made them a bit less effective.

Easy to find. Comfortable bed. Big room. Springfield is a nice location to stay while doing route 66. The hotel is close to a beautiful part of town and drive along the lake. Nice areas to watch the sunset. Also close to restaurants that were nice. Very friendly staff.

Refrigerator was noisy. Air conditioner was too noisy to sleep. Room next door was adjoining and more noise than normal came through. The main issue was the shower. Black tape had been used to stop a leak on which did not work as it still leaked and could only be used as hand shower.

Very considerate young man at the desk. Helped me pick a place to park a car and trailer right outside my window and under a security camera. They had cameras everywhere and a large monitor on the office wall watching them all. Room was very clean, floor was clean, bathroom looked good. Nice squishy pillows. Good tv reception. Plenty of vending choices. Basic coffee in the morning. Room had fridge and microwave.

Restaurant next door was out of business but a Cracker Barrel is a short drive away. AC/heater had no constant fan mode without turning off the heat.

This is our first time staying in economy Motel, and we had a great experience. My husband and I usually prefer Marriott or Choice hotels, but we thought of giving chance to this Motel 6 since we were gonna stay for a night. We must say, it was the best decision we made and saved about $80. There are many choices for food places (cracker Barrel was amazing) and the location is literally right of highway I-55 and I-72. We really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back again!

Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. It’s a Motel 6 but the company has stepped up its game from years ago. It’s a comfortable place to crash for a few nights and the doors don’t slam. This was a HUGE win as I hate hearing when other guests are coming and going.

Only negative is the parking lot lights are quite bright so it was a challenge to get the room totally dark even with the shades closed

Clean, pet friendly, nice desk people, quiet

It was a great place to stay other than the snow on the parking lot. I had stayed at another motel a few miles from there another time. It probably is a little more high brow but this motel 6 blew them away.

It had snowed. They hadn't had much of the parking lot plowed.

Friendly atmosphere. Every time I come in town, always stay here. Every one is so welcoming and friendly. And THERE IS NO PET FEE!! I’m a traveler and I prefer motel 6 because they don’t charge for the pet. This is one of the best well kept and clean motel 6 property I’ve ever visited!
