We go every year to stay at the Inn, my husband & I. It is a beautiful location. The outdoor amenities they have are FREE, always clean, much appreciated. They have a 9 hole putt putt, giant sized connect four game, corn hole, volleyball nets, & a really nice playground. The gardens are beautiful & well kept. The pool is always heated, always clean, stays open late, its huge, and sits inside of a beautiful room with 9 garage style doors that they open during warmer months, a ton of live plants to bring warmth & charm to the pool area. The pool towels they provide are like plush bath towels. The Brown County Inn truly is 1 of the best hotels, especially for as old as it is. The restaurant is good but very pricey. The beds are always good enough to not kill our backs, and we can actually sleep decent. We love this place, cant wait to go back this fall. Also, you can walk to downtown from the Inn. There is a path that goes under the bridge. So you dont have to worry about parking downtown.

Out of the times we have stayed at the Inn, we have not had any issues. The staff is always nice & helpful. But we are understanding people & dont complain much, unlike how others can be. If there was anything I could complain about, it would be that on 2 of our nights they closed the pool early for no reason. That was upsetting. Especially when you've waited all day for the kids at the Inn to finally be in for the night, the adults like to go for a late swim. Other than that, we have no complaints, truly. And we travel a lot, have stayed at 100s of hotels, condos, etc. The Inn is still at the top of our favorite places to stay.

The property was really nice. The pool area had a unique design where it was surrounded by garage style doors that opened up even though it looked like an indoor pool in the photos. It was decorated nicely with palms for an inviting atmosphere. There was a volleyball court and tetherball. Great bike path in the wooded area behind the property. The location was close to town. The bathroom fixtures looked updated as well.

The tv in the room was VERY small. Nashville, Indiana does not have much going on during the week, we were back to the room early. It would've been nice to enjoy a larger screen. We weren't impressed with our interaction at the front desk at check in. The older lady seemed bothered with our questions. As someone who travels for a living, the hotel could use some professional attire for their staff.

The location is great since the town is walkable from the inn. Also, the restaurant and bar was very-well stocked and the food choices were excellent.

We showed up at 8am sharp the 3 mornings we were there. We did not enjoy hearing loud rock and roll that early in the day; there's a time and place for that. The 2nd morning, a young woman with a long, blond ponytail, seated us in the room with the buffet without explanation, the music was blaring and we had to stop her and ask for coffee; she seemed annoyed that we asked if the music could be turned down to which she said "no." We left pissed at the whole situation.

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed by great staff at the front door, we had a minor issue of our door key not working, but the staff was on top of it, and it was corrected promptly!! I loved having the little patio space outside of our room, with views of the beautiful pool. The breakfast buffet, was great (especially the biscuits,) restaurant menu had a lot of great dishes and everything we tried was delicious. Bar was so much fun with the live music, bartenders were fun and made us some great drinks!! Might I suggest you try the Bloody Mary and Kaluah and cream with a splash of amaretto… Overall experience was great. The path way into downtown Nashville is very convenient. It could use a little extra lighting! If I were going to have any suggestions, it would be for a mini-fridge in each room, iron and ironing board, and maybe a little nicer comforter on the beds! All minor fixes!! Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend!

One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in! The grounds were well kept and maintained. It was just very inviting and made you feel right at home. The pool was very nice too. The plants they have setting around the pool area look so pretty. The Inn is in the perfect location and all staff that we came in contact with were very friendly. The room had plenty of towels and there was a fridge and coffee maker. It was very very clean also. There was also a nice little patio to set at. There is a Bar and restaurant attached that served good food and was so convenient . I really would recommend this Inn as we had a great experience.

The only thing missing was a microwave but only had an overnight stay so didnt really need it!

This is an amazing place to stay. Everything needed is on grounds, has a restaurant, lounge with music Thursday-weekend, mini golf, great swimming pool, and close to all the little shops. The room was the cleanest room we have ever stayed in at a hotel and they smelled good. The staff amazing and friendly. We had dinner at Hard Truth, after shopping in the district and doing a tour, so we didn’t have dinner at the Inn, but we had drinks, listened to the band and had breakfast. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Just be aware this is a two-story hotel without an elevator, but if you need a ground floor room, I am positive if you called to request that, they would be able to accommodate you. I am definitely returning here next year for my trips up north. Thank you Brown County Inn, for your hospitality and taking pride in your establishment.

Our room was comfortable and well laid out. The patio with direct access to our car was a bonus. We had a couple of suppers and several breakfasts in the on site restaurant and all were excellent. The staff at the Brown County Inn and in the restaurant were without exception, excellent.

We wanted to use the pool on a couple of hot days but it was out of service due to pump problems. We understand that these things happen, but it was disappointing. To be fair, we were compensated for this with some vouchers that we used in the restaurant.

Everything that could go wrong did, but the staff was amazing! There was a power outage in town so parts of the hotel were without electricity. Some rooms had it, others didn't. Some halls were lit, others weren't. There was no hot water and no TV. None of this was the hotel's fault. The staff did amazing responding to everyone. The pool was closed, but our large group was allowed to sit around the pool to socialize. In the end, they had to close the hotel and cut our stay short. Our room cost was fully refunded!

I was sad that we had to leave early, but I'll be back. They handled the situation like pros!!!!

The location is fantastic. Close to downtown Nashville, very close to and had a shuttle for the Brown County Music Center. The abundant flowers, plantings were beautiful, and the bird feeders were well maintained-really added to the ambiance.

Elevator for second floor room-have to carry suitcases, etc. up steps. Restaurant- We don’t eat bread and potatoes, limiting our options for dinner. No steaks offered, I have a wheat allergy so couldn’t do the pot roast. We had the pork prime rib-it had an unusual texture, like it was tenderized. It wasn’t very good, can’t remember the sides. Our server was very out-going & did a great job though. I hate to complain to a server who has no control over what is on the menu. They could use an upgrade on the menu. I would stay there again, but would try to find a better dinner option, we didn’t eat breakfast. We had to leave before it started at 8am. That seems kind of late for a Monday morning.

Genuinely nice, homey accommodations and within short walking distance of Nashville , IN shops and restaurants. Also nice, large rustic restaurant with terrific “comfort food” meals with a few special offerings (salmon).

ONLY issue (but a major one) was the insect problem. We stayed 3 nights - 1st morning, saw a couple small ants in the bath tub (no biggie - it happens). Next morning, they’re also in the bathroom sink. The last 2 nights of our stay - we were awakened periodically in our bed, as they were crawling on us. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED😳
