It was so cute and i wish i had more time there. I thought the bed was bot going to be comfortable at first but i slept well. The bathtub after a long travel journey was fantastic! And the breakfast i am so glad i made time to eat there it was so delicious!

This is silly but there was no Kleenex. And then at one point i dropped a lid that went by the bed and i noticed it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile near the bed post. The other thing was another guest turned in late and i could hear the front door slammed and their loud voices at an ungodly hour. One other thing just to think about is i didn’t have cash to tip . She was wonderful and i told her i didn’t have cash. But since breakfast is included in the stay either oaying your help enough so they don’t need the tips or asking guests s is they want to charge more to tip or providing a venmo etc so we can tip if we desire.

The inn is beautiful and well appointed. The grounds are lovely and restful. The innkeeper friendly and breakfast excellent. Our room was upstairs overlooking the enclosed garden. If we were staying longer, we would have spent time there. Peonies and other flowers were starting to bloom, and there's a pretty fountain. We stayed in the inn itself, but there are also two (?) other cottages with rooms. We'd come for an overnight visit to see an art exhibit at IU. The inn is walking distance (15 minutes) from the Eskenazi Art Museum through tree-lined residential streets. Another five minute walk brings you to numerous restaurants and bars.

Nothing to complain about.

It's a wonderful place to stay. My daughter had an audition for composition at Jacobs School of Music IUB. So she was delighted to see the house named "Composer House". The room is spacious, and there is a jacuzzi bathtub! I love the homemade breakfast. Delicious! I also like the style and decoration of this Inn.

I wished I could check in earlier so my daughter could have a bit rest before going to her audition. And the room 107 is the first unit that is close to the outdoor air-condition units. It's a bit of noise at night.

I loved the property. I heard it was a great time of the year to travel when the college students are gone. It was quiet, comforting, and a great overall experience. The breakfast was great. The decor matched the description posted online. I stayed in the Composer house. My room was nice and clean. The built in Bluetooth speaker was a great touch. I was able to use the jetted tub and play music.

Sometimes the water in the shower would go cold out of no where. I'm very aware it's an older structure, so it's a minor thing in my book.

I liked the "old style" of the location, all woods and antiques, and yet, clean, well kept and with all the comforts. Breakfast was a treat, I liked the menu and sitting in the living room with a wonderful light, flowers at the table, friendly staff.... I hope to be able to visit again and bring my wife to enjoy it together.

Quaint old world, lovely breakfast. Everything very clean great location.

No hot water. Had to ring host who advised it was hot water on demand so run the bath which then heated the water. Would be good idea to post that notification in the room rather than having to make an international phone call.

The great experience started with Linda (?) at check in, who made me feel so welcome and showed me around the property, including the amazing photos with the history of the inn and the original family behind it. My room was charming and spacious and the original bathroom was very cool. Be sure to check out the floors and ceilings, as they are impressive. But more importantly, I was made to feel at home and very welcome. Best b and b in town. I'll be back!

The coffee. Time to up your coffee game.

Great location to easily walk to restaurants. The courtyard was a beautiful spot for an evening visit. Breakfast was amazing and everything was very clean.

The shower went cold a couple of times and there was no hot water at the sink. The bed was comfortable for foam but we aren't huge fans of the foam mattress overall.

Usually a chain hotel user. Showers made sense because of the proximity of our dinner and I will forgo any points in order to stay here each time I visit Bloomington for business. Beautiful property, friendly, informative and helpful staff and a great breakfast. Why would I stay anywhere else?

I love staying at The Showers Inn. The staff is so friendly and I love the breakfast.

I actually put together a vacuum in The Lazy River Room (for my daughters new apartment) and when I tested it out on the carpet I got a ton of dust in just a small area of the rug...meaning I think it really needed vacuuming.
