It was very nice especially for a value hotel, The people working the front desk were very nice and super helpful. Obviously there were a few things that could’ve been better felt a little rundown but other than that it was very nice and in a fairly quiet location besides the occasional sirens. The pool was clean and heated.

The hot tub in the pool room was out of order which was kind of a bummer. I wanted a water but the vending machine was out so I had to opt for a soda. A few things were sort of out dated, but that’s normal for a super 8 so there was not much expectation there.

The room was spacious, neat & clean. Proximity to college campus is a definite advantage. Staff was friendly and cooperative.

There is no lift to go to the first floor, so you will have to carry your bags up the stairs. Only 1 fruit (orange) was available under breakfast options. Ideally, should also keep bananas & other fruits too. Would have preferred to have a hot water kettle in the room besides the coffee maker. Complimentary water bottles not available.

We arrived very late (we called to let them know) and there was no problem with it, they were waiting. The room was quite big and everything was clean. It was easy to get there and it was a quiet place. The breakfast didn't have a big buffet but it served as well: eggs, different type of cereals, fruit, yogurts, bread, cream cheese and jam, oatmeal, muffins, milk and coffee.

We were 5 and we were given a room for 4. When we made the reservation, we specified that we were 5 and the reservation allowed us to take that room. It is true that in the description it was not said that we would be given an extra bed, but seeing that we could reserved the room that way, we assumed that we would have something extra. We asked for something else but at the moment they didn't have anything else. We were able to sleep 3 in the same bed. It was not the best way of sleeping, but we managed.

The Super 8 in Bloomington is an exceptional budget hotel located of the highway close to the commercial area west of the campus. My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was good. It had a working AC unit, mini-fridge, and microwave. The shower had good water pressure. The free breakfast was adequate. Although close to the highway, the traffic can't be heard in the room. The Super 8 offers good value for the money, and it is one of the few hotels in Bloomington that does not price gouge its patrons.

Considering the price of a room, I don't have much to criticize. The pillows are kind of small and thin, but I still slept well. The free toiletries are basic, but again what can one expect from a budget hotel.

The staffs friendliness I had to stay for almost 2-3 weeks sister was in hospital and this was the only hotel that was close and so glad I stayed the staff is so amazing

I loved everything especially the staff such a friendly atmosphere and any questions they’re willing to answer.

Am speechless because I went to many different t hotels and that place is amazing place for hearing impaired people to stay at. The front desk lady wow amazing job with awesome smile on her face. All I did was giving my driver license and the card and she do all work. Gave me door card and I struggling so went back to front desk and she even brought 2 other cards to checked. We ended up laughed so hard bec she gave me wrong cards which is normal. We all make mistakes and nobody are perfect. 😀

Zero to complain about.

Room was a good size and it was also clean. Breakfast was alright. Decent choice, but not too much. You were able to get a fresh fruit, some waffles, toast, and dairy.

It could have a bit more choice for breakfast. I was missing some eggs or omelets. I got breakfast around 8:40AM, and it wasn't much left over at the time because they close breakfast at 9AM.

Great proximity to IUB. Coffee and espresso! Good breakfast options. Great Price! Quiet room even on the first floor. Pool looked really nice but we arrived late and left early so we were too tired to enjoy it unfortunately. Bed was comfortable enough. Shower temp was hard to regulate at startup but had wonderful water pressure and stayed hot once it was set.

Pillows weren't great but they served the purpose.

Hospitality is on point and at your service. It might not be fancy, but the quality of character of concern & care that sweeps through this hotel is the best. They are worth the stay, relaxation, & breakfast 4 what you pay. I LOVE the shower. The staff are kind natured people.🙌🤗

Just walking in was greeted by front desk and it smelled clean

Would really be helpful for those of us with diet restrictions to have dairy free milk for cereal and gluten free options besides cheerios. They would good but gf oatmeal or grits would be nice
