Rooms where clean and cozy, staff was wonderful and supper friendly and informative.

The Sunrise Inn is an older hotel and, though close to our destination of The Ark, is somewhat isolated from larger stores, malls, other things to do, etc. If guests have time to travel, the Inn is about 45 min to hour midway Cincinnati, OH, and Lexington KY. Despite the older facility, our room was clean and spacious with very comfortable sleeping. A non-hot breakfast is offered. The staff were friendly.

Older facility, little nearby in terms of restaurant choices, etc. Great location for visiting the Ark, but only walkable for younger guests without mobility issues; walking not advised on very warm or rainy weather days even for younger guests.

We had a lovely good sized room, breakfast was lovely, Beds were very comfortable. We choose this Inn as it was beside the Ark Encounter. It was only a five minute walk to the Ark so we didn't have to pay for parking there. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom needed some work done to it but it was functional. The floor in the bedroom could have done with a good wash but the room was by no means dirty.

Wonderful stay. Great location if you're traveling to see the Ark Encounter - it's literally down the street very close to the entrance. The hotel is simple and nothing fancy, but comfortable. The staff was very nice. They accept pets for a minimal fee per pet (2 allowed). Breakfast was a simple continental type breakfast with waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast, muffins, coffee....There is a gas station next door to the property with convenient store.

Restaurant on premises looked like it was being renovated. It will be a great extension to the stay in the future if hotel could have it open and offer more food options.

very good location, right near the Ark Encounter, close by to the highway making it easy to travel to other destinations I had planned out for our trip. Nice big bed, clean room, and updated.

While it was only one night, the walls on the inside are thin so the neighbors next to us were a bit noisy, the rest of our stay was fine. Would love if they had a small table and chair set up in the room too if we had a meal in. overall, still a great stay and when we decide to come back would definitely come back to stay here.

The free breakfast was nice. I especially appreciated the Kind bar and the fruit. For a self-serve breakfast, you offered a sufficient variety. The Staff is top notch. We had some rowdy and loud neighbors one night and I brought the issue to a Staff member. She thanked me and waited until I returned to my room. A few minutes later, the neighbors were settled and that was the end of the noise for the rest of the night. Thank you so much for addressing things professionally and quickly. The location is fantastic - super close to the Ark Encounter and the highway. I stayed here last year for the Answers For Women Conference and I returned again with a friend. The beds were firm, plenty of pillows, sufficient towels.

Dairy-free yogurt would be a nice addition as well as honey for tea. I didn't see the front desk phone number in the room anywhere. I may have missed that, but it would be handy to have the number near the phone. We tried to connect our phones to the television to watch a video, but couldn't see how to make that possible. If it is possible, it would be ideal to have instructions in the room near the television. A hand towel rack would be a convenient addition as well. A note in the room regarding where to get ice would be helpful.

The staff was very friendly, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was ok. Housekeeping came everyday and was very nice. Location is great for the Ark and a short drive to Cincinnati and Lexington for other attractions

Not enough plug in for electronics, the plug behind the bed was broken, so our lamp did not work. The walls were a little thin, but everyone was in bed early so no problems during the night since it really isn't the type of hotel for partying.

The staff was absolutely amazing friendly and helpful! Brandy even came over and took our dog for a walk when we had to be gone for the day. I would also say that the place was the cleanest hotel/motel I've ever stayed in I was very very impressed!

Everything was great but the bed was a little bit hard for our liking and the breakfast was just the basic make your own waffle couple hard boiled eggs Bagels Etc would have been nice to have some meat. Other than that it was fine

The breakfast was as advertised! A bag breakfast with a sausage egg crescent roll, apple, orange juice, and a muffin. Instructions incl. to heat the sausage muffin in the microwave. It was very good! We ate it all three mornings we were there!

It looks like the motel has a busy summer season and a very slow off season. Which is somewhat sad! This is an older motel - however I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this facility was very clean! And the staff was helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a place to stay that’s safe and clean this is a great place. If you need a place with an indoor pool and all the fancier amenities provided this maybe below your budget !

The first thing I look for is cleanliness. The room and property was exceptionally clean and neat. The owners were super friendly and made you feel welcome. The location and price was perfect for our trip!

The only thing I didn't like, wasn't the motels issue. The people beside us sounded like they moved furniture and slammed drawers. Kids. I know there can't be complete silence, but people should think about others.
