The breakfast was fantastic. So many choices including healthy ones. The oatmeal was delicious-had it 3 days in a row. The coffee was always hot. The location was great. loved that the breakfast seating room was available for guests to use in the evening. WE used it every evening to play cards. There was always at least 3 other parties doing the same thing. Appreciated the back door to our room as that meant we didn't have to walk far. The staff was so friendly, polite and accommodating. The beds were so comfortable as were the linens. Since there were 3 women having to get ready in the morning it was nice to have that 3rd sink in our suite. The location to the Ark was great. Unfortunately because 2 of us had sone mobility challenges we were unable to walk there though one of our party walked back to Hampton Inn through teh parking lot an gate. What a nice feature

Loved the 24/7 coffee and tea and that there was a variety to choose from! It helped us out on so many occasions and was good quality as well. The room was very spacious (we had the King studio) and between 3 people, we didn’t feel cramped at all. Location was great too - you can walk across the parking lot to get to the Ark + the small town of Williamstown is just down the road for a quick side visit. We also enjoyed the pool during our stay and it was kept clean and adequately warm with it being an indoor pool.

Didnt know about the parking fee at the hotel. Maybe it said it somewhere in the listing and I didnt read closely. They did tell us when we checked in and it is only $5/day so it wasn’t a huge deal. Would definitely pay that than the parking fee at the Ark.

Very close to the ark which was great.. it doesn't have a lot of food restaurants around it but if you drive 10 minutes down the road you'll find some fast food. The beds were very very firm and the pillows are so flat I asked for extra and it still wasn't good enough LOL. The room was clean but the shower had a little bit of brown stuff in it. There was no bar soap but I always bring my own so that was okay. The staff for breakfast was really nice. I don't eat pork and they didn't have regular eggs just a Southwest omelette which had veggies and ham in it so that was disappointing. But I loved the waffle station.

Regular eggs and non pork/beef sausage for breakfast would be great.

I liked that it was a hot breakfast for a good source of protein in the morning before heading to the Ark! And I REALLY loved the fact that it was only 300 feet to WALK through the Ark parking lot to board the Ark transportation bus! (This is the ONLY way to get to the Ark Encounter) I also loved that I didn’t have to lug all of my purchases and my VBS material with me all throughout the day, because I could simply hop on the transportation bus and take my stuff back to my hotel (or car), so that I had “hands free” to enjoy the rest of the day, especially Emzara’s buffet right next to the big beautiful Ark!

Breakfast was very good in both quality and quantity. Hotel was clean. Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful.

We noticed a lot of hair on our towels and in the shower. Also, horribly loud but this was directly due to multiple groups visiting. I do wish that quiet Hours were enforced. Listen to a mother and a screaming child walk up in the halls at 3:30 in the morning, for over a half hour before she finally went back to her room. I can’t imagine I thought it would not have heard this themselves is not from a complaint.

Breakfast and staff were excellent! Warm and cold options for breakfast no one should leave still wanting.The guests gathered around and we really sat together and ate together. Perfect strangers breaking bread together and talking without phones from the young to the old, ages 70 down to one years old. The cleanliness and location of this hotel was done with care and thoughtfulness concerning the guests convenience and comfort being put first. You can walk to the ark encounter from this hotel to get into the parking lot yes with babies and stroller. You can also ride the tram with the strollers and babies both young and old to get to the ark. We took two routes to get to the hotel one passed a Kentucky castle. I should warn you if you take that route at night it is very narrow, steep, winding and dark but we lived!! The other route smooth sailing so check google maps and look at the one that shows you all that winding road work verses the other option. That drive alone was an experience my family will never forget.

I didn’t like that other hotels way more expensive and brand heavy are not be as pleasant as this one was. From the staff, cleanliness, patrons, and convenience of location to other activities this place was excellent.

We had a church group of four, the suite was ample for everyone to move around, we had a window view of the ARK (you could only see the very top of it and the zip-line). The room was clean, breakfast was very good but not great, the breakfast sitting area was over crowded for the size of the hotel. The hotel cost is high in comparison to other local hotels near by that offer the same ammonites, so not sure why the cost is so much higher. My main reason for staying there was for our church group to see the ARK at night, to my disappointment it is not lit up and all you can see of it is the top portion of the Ark.

Cost and lack of breakfast space.

This hotel is locating at a very good spot to Ark. It is easy to walk through parking lots and take a ride to get Ark Encounter. Because of this sell point, this hotel is very popular with many people to stay. Hence, the breakfast is busy! They have a good variety of breakfast options which satisfied all of us. They also have fresh waffle baking that always have the long line to wait for making waffle. However, one of two waffle makers was not working well which was irritating people after waited long time and turned to use that one but have the messy waffle in the end. That's the only disappointed aspect during our stay.

If staff can replace the one waffle maker to a good one or just put it away if there is no extra available, that will not irritate people after a long line wait. People can decide to wait or not with one good waffle maker. At least with a good one, you are guaranteed to be able to enjoy a good waffle after a long waiting. :)

Our two queen beds with couch room was very large; bathroom: a door separated sink area from shower and toilet. Also the shower was a walk-in instead of a tub/shower - excellent! There was also a sink above the refrigerator and microwave, very nice. The two large windows had both a sun screen shade and a separate room darkening shade - very thoughtful.

Being charged for parking was ridiculous, not expensive, just unnecessary. Our car was only in the parking lot at night, not all day. A second chair in the room would have been helpful. Also, there should have been instructions that the light switches on the wall near the entrance door had to both be turned on to get light in the bathroom.

Beds, walkin shower, breakfast, staff helpful and kind!

Something up with pool Friday night. So cold couldn't get past second step in. Desk said reading 84 but had reports of coldness all day. I swim in 80 degree pool and my house is 64 degrees so knew that wrong. Staff responded well as when we checked Sunday am it was nicely warm. We just in after closure Sat night as out with friends and had to check out Sunday am. No chance to enjoy. Love that it is saltwater. Good choice!
