The convenience of this location to where we were doing our activities and where we were going in New Orleans was just right. Staying in the lower garden district was a bonus with all the unique shops, bars, eating establishments that were within 15 minutes of where we were at. The owner actually came over to check on another couple of units that were getting ready for checking in. He spoke with us we had a great conversation with him. He was very enjoyable to speak with and very knowledgeable about the area. He gave us a couple of suggestions which was very nice.

Could use a couple of sheet pans for baking cookies or morning cinnamon rolls would have been nice to have. Maybe one round one one rectangle one for positive pizzas. The dishwasher top rack was loose and came apart on us.

Spacious, clean, modern fixtures and appliances, comfortable bed. Quiet hours starting at 10 pm.

Extremely difficult to figure out how to get into the unit, starting with the actual street location, which is Hastings. For this unit you have to enter from Felicity. The street pavement in this part of New Orleans is almost nonexistent, with exposed manhole covers, unmarked potholes, sudden drops of the road, and one way streets, so navigating even around the block is a big deal. Much easier on foot. Needed assistance from one of the help phone numbers to find which gated door to use the code in. Also didn't like the bright lights in the courtyard all night long.

We were immediately blown away arriving to find a beautiful two-storey apartment with a full kitchen, washer & dryer, and two bedrooms. The place was very inviting, clean, and comfortable. The toilet and sink in the upper bedroom was nice to have, and we appreciated the extra space in the apartment. Although we didn't get to utilize it as much due to our schedule, we really loved the kitchen and dining room space. The front deck was great in the morning. The towels were plentiful, and I especially liked the extra little types of towels. We loved the neighborhood too. Checking in was easy and communication was a breeze. We really enjoyed the hot tub on our final night after a long week at the conference and sightseeing. We would love to return and book the entire place with family or friends, but we're planning to make this an annual event and come back without a conference to go to.

The mattress in the bedroom with the sink is a little bowed in the middle, but it was comfortable enough and I slept well. Tissues would be a nice touch to have, but really we loved the place and wouldn't need to change a thing.

Location was excellent in an nice part of town. Access to interesting shops and restaurants. Hot tub in the back was nice after a long day around town.

Walls were thin. Could hear the couple next door clearly.

loved the location. there’s so much to do on magazine street. and almost everything is within walking distance. the hot tub was also wonderful. the host was also really great and super accommodating. we told him we had an extra person coming and he upgraded us to the penthouse suit for no extra charge.

hot water was a little touchy. like it took a while to heat up but then it was literal lava coming out of the faucet and was really hard to get to come down to a tolerable temperature. there also looked to be mold/mildew in the washer but we weren’t there long enough to need it anyways.

The location, grounds, accommodations, and management. This was an awesome stay with all the personal touches you would expect from and air b-n-b plus more. I stayed in both their Mardi Gras Suite and Studio West during my visit. Both are adorable, with all the personal touches and interiors designed my the owner of this beautiful mansion. And it is rare these days to get the personal attention and service that this place provides. Plus, the private outdoor patio area with the hot tub, sitting areas, grill, and even a swing bench were perfect spaces to work and relax.

My stay at Magazine Mansion was above and beyond anything I could have expected! To start with, the property itself is lovely and in an exceptional location, with easy access to Magazine Street and the Garden District, and just a short jaunt over to the French Quarter. As a woman in my 20s traveling to NOLA on my own, I was a bit concerned about safety. Staying in the Magazine Mansion, I felt totally comfortable coming and going, even on nights when I got in quite late. In addition to all of the above, the host was incredibly hospitable and generous. On my first day, the studio I rented wasn't finished being cleaned by the time I checked in. The host put me up in the penthouse suite at no additional charge, where I was allowed to stay for the entire rest of my visit. Check-in was easy, he made himself readily available in case of any issues, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable throughout the trip. I'm excited to return to NOLA soon with friends and family—and when we do, I will absolutely be booking Magazine Mansion again.

No complaints! It was a great stay and I hope to return as soon as possible.

If you are planning to be out for most of the day, this is a good place to stay. I was there for an overnight stay and it was quiet during my stay. I was able to find the gate/room with ease (the owner provided detailed info prior to my stay). They have a fridge and microwave with a very small kitchen table with two stools.

I don't like sitting on stools but they have a couch! I was able to relax and eat my Uber Eats meals.

If you're looking for a cozy little intimate place to stay, this place is an awesome hide away, excellent location just 2 miles from the super dome, Bourbon Street, and a host of restaurants. We loved the back yard area where you're able to just chill and grille with drinks. I highly recommend this place. I planning on booking again, so Yall get in line...lol 😆

Amazing location! Friendly staff and the room was well-appointed for a work trip that lasted several days. Staff and manager were very friendly and helpful.

The walls were a little thin and I could hear other guests occasionally, but all the other guests were also considerate so it did not disturb my trip.
