The location was excellent, right on a streetcar line and walkable to many bars and restaurants. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. Our room had recently been renovated and was very clean.

There was a weird sell for a timeshare pitch when we checked in. The lighting in the hallways are those harsh blue LEDs which don't fit the age of the hotel. Our floor had a loud, drunk group on one of the nights.

The room was perfect for two people on a 7 night stay. It had all the amenities needed as we tended to cook breakfast using the stove and toaster provided. It was spacious and fully stocked with towels, toilet roll, microwave, iron and ironing board. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the added bonus of a heated pool and hot tub were great touches. The location is perfectly located in the middle of St Charles with easy access to the local streetcar or bus which works out at around 20-30 minutes to the French Quarter.

The attempt to get us to join a time share for the wider Wyndham group was fine initially, as we received a gift incentive to attend a session for 1 hour 30 minutes, however, this session ended up wasting 3 hours of our day, when we had better things to do and the final 'hard sell' felt unnecessary and was unappreciated.

The array of different seating areas around the hotel made for a very relaxing stay. nice not to have to sit in the hotel room all day. I especially liked the balcony on floor 1. it was lovely to be welcomed each time entering and leaving the hotel. The room size was adequate, particularly enjoyed having a kitchenette to make use of. lots of little things here to make the guests stay more enjoyable, toiletries and lotions, laundry detergent, good coffee, water jug. great attention to detail.

one particular staff member that checked me in could lessen her attitude. It was clear that I'm a tourist to the area and have no idea of localities, a bit more patience and understanding to guests in that situation would be recommended- speak slower and clearly, give exact directions and most importantly ensure the customer has understood those directions before brushing them off to the next person. Also the walls are paper thin in rooms that adjoin others, leaving for a sleepless night when the neighbours decided to party until 2am

I liked their room. It was well spacious and furnished with every necessary amenities. There was a big kitchen with microwave facilities. Honestly, that saved our lives. We could buy cheap food and vegetables and use the kitchenette and facilities to enjoy food of our taste. The pool was a great attraction (even though the size is small). Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming with cheers and greetings. The location was quite close to downtown and easily accessible by street car. I would be happy to book there again on my next visit. Strongly recommended!

The only thing that I didn't like there were no housekeeping facilities in case of a continuous stay. So, if you plan for a longer time, you have to clean the room by yourself. In addition, the laundry service is free but lacks good instructions on how to use it and sometimes the washing machines and dryer are not clean enough.

I would recommend anyone to stay here. I am a stickler about cleanliness, and this was one of the nicest and cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. I couldn’t believe how nice it was; especially for the price. I suppose it’s less expensive because it’s further from the French Quarter (a 2-mile walk, which isn’t bad), but the Garden District where this hotel is located is just lovely! You could spend a day walking around the historic neighborhoods and touring this area. I traveled alone and felt totally safe, and the staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and informative. It was an all-around great experience!

The only bad thing I can say is that the valet parking fee is steep. It’s $50 a day. If there are less expensive ways to store your vehicle, they did not make those known to me.

I liked most things about this hotel- location, room, pool, cleanliness. The hotel is at the city end of the Garden District and a tram stops right outside which is great for seeing the city. The concierge guys did a good job too.

Not much I didn’t like about the hotel. In hindsight I wish I had waited for the tram on my first night instead of walking from the centre- about 25 minutes walk. Also, I wish I had tried the convenience store next door instead of Walgreens. In any case, I did make my own breakfasts, and a packed lunch to take with me.

The kitchen area was good to have. Loved the convection/microwave combination. Good AC. Streetcar stops right out front. $3 Jazzy passes good for 24 hrs. Beautiful pool area with hot tub. Nice pool furniture.

The hotel needs a backup generator. We had a power outage in the area and no AC with the temperature at 104° & 75% humidity for about 8 hours. No windows to open. I am sure the generator would come in handy during the hurricane season. Low water pressure in the shower. Having to sit through a 2-3 hour sales promotion for the vacation club.

Perfect location to take the trolly into the French Quarter. The staff is phenomenal and so fun! We were lucky enough to enjoy a crawfish boil hosted by the hotel and beautiful sunsets on the rooftop deck. Jerome was amazing and arranged for our ride back to the airport. I’ve never experienced such hospitality! We will definitely stay again!
