Easy drive to Bar Harbor about 8 miles more or less. On Rt 3 easy enough to find. As long as you are only looking for a nice place to sleep and enjoy the area you are good. its quiet and a rural feel to it. Does have a pool, refrigerator, microwave, and traditional coffee maker. If you get up early enough you will see deer's and more. Mini golf course across the road and a BBQ place next to it.

you may need to bring hooks or hangers if you are staying a few days.

We traveled with extended family consisting of 10 adults and a 1 year old baby. The rooms were comfortable, and the large lawn was great for the baby to "explore". We had several king-size rooms and one double queen room with a kitchenette. The owners provided a pack n play for the baby, extra keys that were needed, and they were wonderful.

It was pricey, but we visited in early August, and every hotel around was expensive.

Great location for us right next to the campground where other members of our family were camping. Buses into Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor were at the entrance to the campground just a short walking distance from the motel. Two rooms made it perfect for two couples. The pool was private and well maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

This is a 50’s style roadside motel, nestled in the pines, that has been nicely renovated. You park in front of your room. The room window opens for fresh air. Thoughtfully bagged continental breakfast available for pick up in a.m. You fill out the request sheet and it’s ready in the morning. (There is no common space so that’s likely why they do this.) Location is just a few miles from the busy tourist town of Bar Harbor.

Pool area could be tidied up a bit. Pool was closed for the season.

The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location was great and the price was reasonable. I liked that they had queen beds and they were comfortable.

The motel did not have laundry. It was pretty dated and the air conditioning did not work well. We were able to open the window, which helped cool the room.

We got stranded a 1/2 mile down the road because of a bad tire as we were traveling through. The tire wasn't available that day. The manager was very thoughtful and when our tire didn't come in until the next day @ 1:30 they didn't charge us for the extra hours past check out time. We REALLY appreciated that! And it was so nice to have a lovely front porch with rockers to relax, an accommodating dining area where we could get snacks, coffee and drinks. We met many guests who have been coming there for ten years or more and that tells you a lot! The staff is AMAZING! Helpful and clean the rooms excellent.

You could tell it was a clean place, it is obviously an older place which gave it a homey feel. It had a small kitchenette with table and chairs. They had all basic dishes utensils pots and pans need for a small meal. The bathroom was a decent size with a hairdryer in a drawer. The bed was comfortable not too firm and not too soft!

The room was a pleasant surprise. We requested 2 queen beds for 4 people. We ended up with 1 king and a queen in a separate bedroom. The rooms were very very clean!

The bathroom definitely needs work. In addition to updating, it needs grab bars in the shower as well as lowering the soap dispenser located in the shower/tub. Hand soap at the sink would help. The lighting in the room needs to be better for reading.

Really enjoyed the location! Extremely easy access into Acadia National Park-our destination- without droving thru Bar Harbor. Staff very friendly!

Didn’t know how to reach staff for checkout so left key in office. Did find them before leaving in laundry room. Busy. Had trouble regulating temperature in room

We knew we'd be gone for most of the day so we were looking for a solid, affordable place to sleep at night. This place was perfect for that. Nothing fancy, but perfect if you're just there to sleep.

Not much to dislike. The fire pit didn't work which was a bummer
