This is a 50’s style roadside motel, nestled in the pines, that has been nicely renovated. You park in front of your room. The room window opens for fresh air. Thoughtfully bagged continental breakfast available for pick up in a.m. You fill out the request sheet and it’s ready in the morning. (There is no common space so that’s likely why they do this.) Location is just a few miles from the busy tourist town of Bar Harbor.

Pool area could be tidied up a bit. Pool was closed for the season.

We got stranded a 1/2 mile down the road because of a bad tire as we were traveling through. The tire wasn't available that day. The manager was very thoughtful and when our tire didn't come in until the next day @ 1:30 they didn't charge us for the extra hours past check out time. We REALLY appreciated that! And it was so nice to have a lovely front porch with rockers to relax, an accommodating dining area where we could get snacks, coffee and drinks. We met many guests who have been coming there for ten years or more and that tells you a lot! The staff is AMAZING! Helpful and clean the rooms excellent.

The room was a pleasant surprise. We requested 2 queen beds for 4 people. We ended up with 1 king and a queen in a separate bedroom. The rooms were very very clean!

The bathroom definitely needs work. In addition to updating, it needs grab bars in the shower as well as lowering the soap dispenser located in the shower/tub. Hand soap at the sink would help. The lighting in the room needs to be better for reading.

The hotel was located just a few minutes drive away from Bar Harbor. Plenty of restaurants just around the corner to grab a meal. The hotel does provide a breakfast but you need to make sure to fill out a list of preferences each day and hand it over the day prior. The room had all the necessities for a comfortable stay.

Very clean and spacious modernized rooms with TV, fridge. Felt much higher class/quality than most motels I’ve stayed in and much better than other hotels at this price point. Check in was smooth even though we arrived after the check in desk closed; they left the key for us. Was in a cute secluded area 10 mins from Bar Harbor and Acadia.

more explicit notice on the hours of the check in desk only open from 8am-9pm as we didn’t realize the open/closure time and it caught us off guard.

Felt like a comfy stay at grandmas, the bed put me to sleep immediately. Location is super close to Acadia National Park and not to mention it was more than affordable. Will definitely stay here again the next time I come!

Never encountered the staff, just on the phone. Shower was a little confusing and wore out but those are nitpicks

The distance away from all the activities. It is located at a very convenient spot that makes it easy to plan your daily itinerary for any part of the island.

The continental breakfast was just microwaveable pre-packaged bagels and food. Def would recommend eating out.

It really was an efficiency apartment. We had a stove, refrigerator, sink, microwave. Nothing fancy but worked great for us.

There wasn't anything negative to report. It would have been great to be on the water but that would have been too expensive.

The bed is really big and comfortable, and there’s no noise from the road outside. Sleeping here is a breeze!

The shower would randomly change temperature from ice cold to boiling hot.

Very nice economy hotel, there was a microwave and fridge with a small kitchen table. Just a short drive into Bar Harbor. Several places to eat close by. This is a no frills hotel but very clean and safe. Great value, not like some of the big chain hotels, this is more of a cabin type feel.
