The beds are very comfortable. The location is great for a quick getaway. There are a lot of food options in the area and a few are within walking distance. The breakfast is pretty good with a variety of cold and hot options along with the ability to make your own waffles. There is also unlimited free coffee and tea available in the lobby. The water pressure was amazing and it stayed hot.

The room needs updating. There were spider webs in the corners, the shower head was partially detached from the wall and there are signs of mold in the bathroom. The carpet and the drapes need to be replaced. The coffee maker didn't look clean so I didn't feel comfortable using it.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff pleasant, helpful. Good location as a service station and convenience store were right next door along with access to major roads leading to Baltimore, Washington and Hagerstown. And certainly not least...the availability of hot coffee 24 hours a day.

There were some things, but it had nothing to do with the hotel. The local wildlife seem to take great pleasure in leaving their calling cards on my rental car every morning and the road network could be a mite confusing to anyone new to the area. Like I said, it had nothing to do with the hotel and it's obvious that such things are beyond their control. I would gladly use Country Inn again.

I arrived on Friday afternoon at 3 pm and was promptly checked in by the friendly staff. The young receptionist was particularly helpful and explained everything to me clearly. My room was clean and spacious, with all the amenities I needed. It may be a bit dated, but it has been well-maintained. For breakfast, the hotel serves a hot breakfast with limited options, including eggs, a “hot entree,” and a waffle machine. There are also some fresh fruits, cereals, juices, yogurt, and baked goods available. Everything is of good quality, and the staff ensures that the breakfast is always served promptly. In addition to breakfast, the hotel offers coffee throughout the day. There are several coffee options available in the lobby, including many coffee options, creamers and teas. Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the area, as it’s close to many stores and restaurants. The staff is truly caring and always goes above and beyond to ensure that guests are happy. The gentleman who works the front desk is especially noteworthy. He’s always on the move, working various tasks and making sure to greet guests whenever he sees them.

The only downside to my stay this time was the noise from the neighbors in the hallway. They didn’t respect general quiet hours and were slamming doors, shouting, and let their dog bark obnoxiously. This is unfortunately a gamble with hotels and I dealt with it.

Great location just off I-95 ,breakfast was very good, rooms, comfortable, were clean and only minor cosmetic complaints in the room.At this price point , I would book with them every time I stay in Fredrick, MD

Availability of restaurants were not lacking but traffic was a bummer

Breakfast great - and servers lovely. Biscuits hot and fluffy - waffle set up clean and efficient - batter just great. Scrambled eggs and grits - just right.

The fan in the bathroom was very very loud. The entrance floor mat was dirty and the grouting in the floor in the bathroom was also dirty - I know this is hard to keep clean. We opened the window as the air conditioner was also loud (and we didn't need it as the evening was just the right temperature for sleeping.) However as the window opened onto the parking lot I awoke hearing the early risers slam their trunks or car doors closed.

Location, rooms were adequate.

Several light bulbs were either flickering, phone did not work. We had an issue with pet charge that was the fault of the Bookings.com process. Hotel manager indicated that he felt we were blaming him personally; we weren’t. That was cleared up but the Booking process should still be reviewed. I’ve notified them of my concerns.

Location was great! Easily accessible off of 270. We wanted a place to stay that was far enough outside of DC for a better price, but close enough to return after a concert without being too late in the evening. We had a late (11pm) check-in and it took less than 3 minutes. Our room was very clean, had new carpet and the beds were super comfy. My son even used the bathtub and I was completely comfortable with how clean it was. The place was quiet and clearly well-maintained. Breakfast was substantial with a good variety. Staff were all professional and polite, very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again when returning to the DC area.

Maintenance of the breakfast area was a bit lacking. There were various spills and such on the counters that were not kept up with during the breakfast service hours.

The breakfast was excellent and varied. There were scrambled eggs and sausages, which you don't always see at hotels. They also had several cereals, toast, bagels, waffles, and other breakfast foods. The hotel was within walking distance to several restaurants. I was traveling to several parks (Catoctin Mountain, Antietam, and Harpers Ferry); Frederick was about half a hour from each, so the hotel was conveniently located.

There were not many channels available on the TV and there was no pool.

I was in need of staying, at a hotel, for an extended stay. I had the chose of paying out of my pocket or staying elsewhere and not at my expense. Trust me, as much as I could not afford to house myself at a hotel, it was well worth it. I was so comfortable, I forgot I was in a hotel. Sleep is important to me and BOYYYYYY this place got the job done for me. I might even just take weekends to go stay here, once in a while just because of the peace, quietness, darkening curtains and also the ability to open your windows for air as well. I think I am dropping hints for now on that all birthdays and holidays a couple of days stay is the only present I want and need.

I did not like the fact that I got so comfortable that it was times I was about to walk out of my apartment, I MEAN hotel door, with a robe and hair towel on to walk to my kitchen, I MEAN their kitchen to get some hot tea. haaahaaaaahaaaaa

The staff is so engaged and genuinely caring. We were driving from Maine to bring a family member home to Maryland. We were involved in a car accident two hours from our destination and I called to make sure our room wouldn’t be given away because we could arrive very late. He was so calm and reassuring asking if we were ok. He nicely told me the room would be here waiting and it was. He recognized our faces as we saw him off and on during our 2 day stay and always said if we needed anything to let him know! So impressed!!! The morning after we arrived I went in the corridor to see if I could get some more shampoo, etc. Once again, a friendly smiling face as she gave me what I needed right down to offering extra plastic bags for trash and ice! Wow… When we checked out I was talking with the night auditor and yet again a very caring involved person even though she had 20 minutes left in her shift. She made me feel she had all the time in the world as I talked about being in a car again after the accident 2 days before! We’ve stayed in hotels before and I’ve never encountered so many people in various departments treating me like family!

The person on the first day getting food I thought was a guest NOT employee. She was wearing skin tight pants like exercise pants with no underwear. Different generations but I felt not appropriate for a work setting. She did have her hair pulled back. A few minutes later she was working behind front desk. No smile just did her job. So different from all the other wonderful employees I met.
