If I could give 10 stars for Paula, who basically ran the place, I would!! She was the only one on duty the night we checked in and she was still attentive to all our needs! Even running to our room to fix our TV for us!! And she did all this without an attitude and even had a smile for us. Whatever she's being paid, it should be doubled. The hotel itself was understaffed and in need of some repairs. But the room was clean and the bed was good enough for a 2 night stay. Also breakfast was extremely good!! Hot and well stocked. We were going to go to a local restaurant for breakfast but after seeing what they had to offer we didn't.

The lobby had 2 big spots of water damage in the ceiling. They were rather large and the first thing I noticed upon entering. Not a good look! In fact the next day the water had completely come through the ceiling and buckets were on the floor. I wasn't a fan of the carpeting in the rooms either. But that could be a me thing. Just feel like carpet holds a lot of nasty stuff.

The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, making it a good option for a quick overnight stop. There are plenty of shopping options nearby, which adds to the convenience. The room was spacious and clean, and parking was easy and available. When we visited, the hotel was undergoing renovations, which didn’t affect our stay much, but it’s worth noting. A clean, practical hotel for a night in transit—nothing fancy, but convenient and functional.

Breakfast was very limited and basic, not much variety to speak of, but typical for hotels in this price range. Nothing particularly impressive overall, but it served its purpose.

We arrived after dark on a snowy night, but we still received the impression that this is an aesthetically lovely hotel. The receptionist was friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. There was a pretty brook running beside the parking area.

Fresh, heavy snow on the landscaping along the path to the side entrance weighed down branches in a way that partly blocked the path. We stooped to avoid tipping the snow onto us. By 7 o'clock the following morning, that bit of landscaping had been trimmed back to create a clear path. I don't know how they managed to identify and rectify the issue so quickly. We were impressed. Obviously this is a very well run hotel. We were sorry we didn't have another day or two in the area to enjoy the beauty and hospitality.

Price was about half other similar hotels! Property was very pretty - especially with a light snow falling. The room was standard, everything clean and in working order.Showing had really good volume, plenty hot water. TV has easy to read channel guide. Only heard occasional sounds in the hall, none from next door rooms. Pet fees reasonable, sounds popular with dog families.

Front desk gave us outside directions to our parking entrance., so we trudged back outside and drove around. Only to find our room was a very short walk straight inside from the reception desk. The bed was comfortable, but could have used an extra blanket and pillows. Breakfast looked really good, lots of choices.

I enjoyed my room (Room 110). The room was clean and comfortable. It was well heated and air conditioned. I had a chance to meet some amazing members of your staff. Aaron, Cindy, Macie, Alan, and Patty worked very hard to make sure I didn't feel alone. I had a chance to get to know these wonderful individuals and have amazing conversations with them. This hotel is fairly priced and you get wonderful service and meet wonderful people. I hope you all for as long as possible. I even signed up for Best Western rewards because of the impressive nature of everybody here. I'm glad I could be there.

Every want and need were met here. This place is one of our favorites. The front desk staff was efficient. The room was fabulous. The breakfast was enjoyed by the wife. The lobby coffee was worth going back for. The Check-in and check-out was easy. The wife was pleased because she could SMOKE in the room. When Mommies happy... everybody is happy.

There was no information in the room as to where the ice machine was located. The room was cold on arrival. There was no wall thermostat. I found a remote-control thermostat control with no instructions. It was difficult to find a way to get the HVAC unit to work.

The location was very convenient for us. The hotel was clean and the room large. Bed was comfy. Nice breakfast options. Staff very friendly and kind.

Outside in the parking lot there are people just lingering around and sitting in their cars. Just didn't know what to make of that a couple of times. It didn't appear to be people that were staying there, but I could be wrong. The Parking lot is lit though, so we didn't fee unsafe at any point.

It was under renovation when we stayed but it really didn't mess with the stay much, there were boxes in the hallways but it wasn't a bother. Our room was newly updated. The rooms were quiet once inside despite the renos. The location was good, lots around to do and places to eat. Would definitely stay again and excited to see the renovations finished!

Room was spacious and clean and easy to find upon check in. Plenty of lights & outlets in the room. Larger hallways than most hotels which is a positive remark.

being on the ground level meant we heard sounds above us including the rather large running water or water pump that was going loudly but it shut off after about 10 minutes and didn't disrupt our stay after.

Great location to restaurants and shops and out of the city, but close to interstate for easy access to Cumberland or Frostburg. Hennys restaurant next door on the same property was great and convenient!

Personal preference, but the bed was a little on the firmer side and the ac/heat unit was a little noisy at night, but overall a great affordable stay for a couple of nights
