It was convenient to stores and restaurants and sitting areas.

They should have told me the pool was not open . I came for therapeutic.also the gym . First night lady told me the bar was not open on Saturday they even had a mangers sighn saying it. Come to find out around 7PM it was on that Saturday Sunday it didn’t open at all . It needs to open on weekends and some days of the week. The pool most definitely should have been open and they should have told me about both when I made the reservations.

The location of Silver Spring White Oak was perfect for our needs. The feel of the facilities as soon as you walked in was so cozy and family-friendly. We happened to have stayed during a storm when power was lost and the accommodations were wonderful!

The morning kitchen staff wasn't in the best of moods. Could have been because of the storm and blackout, but any time we visited the dining area, she looked miserable.

I stay at this hotel every year around the same time so its hard to say what exactly I like. The staff and rooms are always above and beyond. SUNDAY breakfast 😋 unbeatable.

This year I paid for breakfast as a part of my room. The Saturday breakfast was horrible. Everything was run through by 7:30 but not stocked back to accommodate the other guests. And breakfast stated at 6. When I asked acout things like fruitIi was told that they were out and the cook might cut more by 10.I was so disappointed in the service for Saturday. However I found out that the staff is different on Saturday then Sunday. Sunday breakfast was redemptive. Great service always stocked, helpful staff. 👍 Thus I won't be doing the breakfast incorporation with my room anymore but I will be getting Sunday breakfast if the staff that was there this Sunday is still serving.

I left my airpod in the room and did not realize that till a day after I left So, had to call and ask them if anyone found them I really appreciate their effort to go in the room and look carefully and mail it back to me It means a lot that they cared and took time to find it

I liked the staff and accommodations.

I didn’t like that I was charged for breakfast after being told on booking.com that my breakfast was included. That was a surprise and I feel that I paid enough money for the room to at least get continental breakfast without a surprise charge.

The lotion was empty the body was smelled old, and only 2 towels 2 hand towels and 2 wash rags we like taking showers in the evening and then in the morning and not use a towel twice we are a married couple, the mini fridge was not cold however the place was clean and staff was great

I got very sick while I was staying there, and the housekeeper Selena, was so accommodating. She got me an extra blanket and extra towels and the next morning she came by to check on me. The front desk overnight manager, (I think David) also worked with me to get my room extended so I could recover another night. When I checked out, he asked me how I was doing. They were fantastic!

The design of the room was roomy and comfortable. The service was helpful when the sink drain turned out to be blocked when we arrived.

The breakfast was the low point of our stay. Was expensive for what was offered (which is often free at comparable establishments). So we bought cereal and milk nearby which was preferable to the chaotic (understaffed) scene in the breakfast area. Also, we would certainly not describe the hotel's location as being in Silver Spring since it is far from the town center and public transportation into DC.

Perfect location easy to find and close to needed conveniences. The facility was very clean and well cared for. My family enjoyed our stay immensely.

bathroom had no place to put hand soap other than the bathroom counter. I loved the availability of parking but at no time was I asked to provide my license plate # in the event of an emergency. I think that is something that should be considered. Guests checking in should always be offered bottled water.
