I did not eat breakfast.

The bathroom shade was damaged. I covered it with a black trash bag so I can have privacy when using the bathroom. Couple of days after being in the room, the water in the bathroom sink was draining slowly. These matters should be on the checklist for inspection before renting to guests. Guests should never have to report something that pre-existed. Overall, it was a minor issue, that happens even in people's home so it wouldn't deter me from staying there in the future.

The breakfast had good offerings and the station was kept clean, plenty of seating area around. The hotel was quiet and had a great location for taking walks along with a full blown grocery store across the street. There were several good places to eat out at across the street as well along with 2 gas stations right by it. Excellent location I can't imagine you needing something that is not within a 5 minute walk. Also, parking is secured under the building if this hotel had these stores around it and was in Boston it would be $500 a night. It should exceed expectations.

I couldn't find the laundry machines even though there was signage. It's in the parking garage somewhere.

I think the hotel has a lot of potential. I am sure that back in the day, it was a classy place. Renovations are being done, so I am sure the looks will improve. The neighborhood looks a little iffy. We were glad the parking was inside. There are cameras at the front desk and I hope one is pointed to the garage. I think the black paint around the outside is not appealing. I am guessing it covers graffiti, maybe. ?? But a prettier color would add a lot. Would definitely stay there again, and see how things progress.

The staff were efficient, pleasant, and professional. Upon arrival, I was so pleased to discover the underground parking garage--nice to avoid inclement weather! Traveling alone, I felt very safe. Appreciated the clean, comfortable room. Thank you all very much; will stay again whenever in your area.

I appreciated the fresh fruit and the hot water/tea option. I wish there had been some 'hot' breakfast items other than the waffle option.

The pool, though did not enjoy early morning swim with pool cleaner in the pool. Would have loved music playing while swimming since there appeared to be a very nice music system. Also, came down the stairs, only to find back door to pool locked at 9:30. Very nice room, smelled and looked very clean. Very comfortable. Loved the pool.

Pond of waffle mix under waffle maker caused by mix being so watery. Attendant seemed oblivious to this, though he was standing right next to it, doing nothing, though very cordial. We arrived late at night and had no idea how to enter office or garage. No lit signage to assist us. Once inside garage, we were fine. Had we not paid in advance, we most likely would have left. It felt eery.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, which is better than nothing.

I was in room 227. I just think the bathroom could use a refresh.

Beds were comfortable . Bathroom and shower good. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. not many people in hotel so was quiet. If we can get the same rate, we will probably use it again.

Breakfast--would have like more options--some of the choices were not available on day 2 Small refrigerator was not very handy--sat on floor so not easy to access. Like it was made to sit on a small table.

When I travel for work, I pay for lodging out of my own pocket since I am self employed. This property is the perfect price and location. It is not the Hyatt, but it is also $150 per night less than the Hyatt. If you expect a similar experience to the Hyatt, stay at the Hyatt. For me, I have an extra $150 in the bank after my stay. That makes me happier than a shoe shine machine in the bathroom.

I loved the location and layout of the hotel. It was beautiful and felt very comfortable.

The pool was not in working order, looked like it hadn't been in a very long time. Also breakfast had so much potential but just wasn't great.

Admit it! Hotels in downtown Boston are exorbitantly priced and this place is the answer. Parking is free (and there is loads of parking, including underground). MBTA bus 62 is right outside and goes to Alewife where you can connect with the T. The hotel is tired but our room was lovely, the beds super comfortable, generous number of pillows, masses of hot water and good aircon. Breakfast has something for everyone (yoghurts, fresh fruit, whole meal toast plus waffles, cakes and cereal for those with a sweet tooth). Coffee, fridge, iron and hairdryer in room.

The public areas are tired with seemingly dirty carpets - but it feels like the owners are trying to revive this old beast so the more we support it, the more likely it will improve. Good value for $100 per night.
