The location was awesome. The unit is very comfortable. It had everything that we needed.

The air-conditioning unit is in the master bedroom, and we aren't used to the noise (ours in in our basement). We understand that there is nothing that the owner/proper manager can do to change this, ear plugs helped. It could use a light over the kitchen sink. The kitchen sink has the hot on the right. It would be nice if the unit came with a parking spot, even if there was a small nightly charge. We used the parking ramp, but they don't have a pass that can be paid for that lets us go in and out throughout the day.

This hotel is "quaint". If you are looking for modern accommodations then you will likely be disappointed. That being said, this place feels like you're stepping back in time. We had a room with a king bed that was comfortable that was CLEAN (which is important for us). No frills. The ground floor is a bar/restaurant that was going pretty strong with loud (but good) music. The building is OLD but nostalgic. The rooms are up winding stairs (no elevators). We actually discussed organizing a friend weekend getaway here where we'd all close down the bar and crash in the rooms upstairs. ;)

Hey, we didn't set expectations high as accommodations for the event we had nearby were lacking and the $100 price tag raised questions. The bar music could be heard through the floor of our room (9) which was pretty much over the bar area. This didn't bother us at all but I understand that some people might not like noise at night so I'm listing it here as a potential negative.

Historic. Good location.

Breakfast included store bought muffins, cereal, only whole milk, peach or strawberry yogurt and coffee. No decaf! Bar downstairs had kareoke until about 1 pm, which was hard to sleep until after they closed. Would not have stayed there knowing that.

Its advertised as "quaint" and it truly was. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

I may have missed it but all rooms were on the second floor and there is no elevator. That was difficult for us.

The personnel were just amazing from the beginning until the end! We will be back in also recommended to others, very cool place, historic and beautiful

The staff was great! I’m a photographer and was shooting a wedding roughly ten minutes away, and due to astigmatism I have a hard time seeing at night. The bartenders at the wedding were actually staff from The Winter Inn, and they were so nice to let me follow them to the hotel so I wouldn’t have a hard time! They even checked me in and were very informative. Very nice gentlemen and staff. :) The bar below is a very neat idea.

The hotel is a little outdated but nothing too crazy.

The location was perfect, had no trouble checking in. Plenty of clean towels, clean room. Staff was pleasant. I've stayed here before and like the place a lot.

The "breakfast" has been in decline over the last few years. There used to be a bit more than cellophane wrapped muffins and coffee. No yogurt or oatmeal or fruit available. It was very drab. Also, the outer door to hotel was left unlocked the first night we stayed even after informing staff. The staff did lock it when informed on second day.

Loved the historic building, the bar downstairs, and the comfortable beds.

Bathroom was small, but it’s a historic hotel so can’t really hold that against it. The music from the bar downstairs is loud as others have said, but that didn’t bother us.

The room was cozy, it was quiet and relaxing

Even tho staff we came into contact with were very nice, they weren't around at checkout.

Good location.  very well-maintained, and a fun experience being in 102-year-old hotel!

Some of the rooms were directly above the bar and would be affected by the noise downstairs. Others were far enough away that it was quiet.
