Booked last min on a holiday weekend and it was an unbeatable pice for a huge room! I could not believe our luck! This isn’t generally a chain we stay at, we travel A LOT! So we were very satisfied with this last second opportunity. The rooms are humongous! The French doors were charming. I liked that they drowned out the sounds from loud guests and the elevator. Also! Cool story!! I really believe our room was haunted. I kept hearing whistling like a human whistling a tune in our room, mind u our French doors drowned out the sound of everything else and my husband was snoring next to me the first time. The second time he was two rooms over in the bathroom. The second strange thing was when he was in the shower I felt someone pushing down on the bed and shaking it. I was alone in there in the day time. It was 10am. lol. Then my husband got out of the shower and came back to the bedroom and asked if I was whistling and I said no. He said he heard someone whistling a song when he was in the shower! I told him about all the strange stuff that occurred with me too! Definitely haunted vibes. It was really cool! We love paranormal stuff! 3rd floor, room directly next to the elevator!

The elevator was terrifying. It needs fixed in the worst way honey lol.

I cannot honestly tell anyone about the breakfast, the one day I went down I had toast and jam. It was pretty good for toast and jam. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I used Booking.com for my reservations, so that made things easier. Checking in was also easy, quick, showed up late (as usual) but it wasn't a problem. The woman working was fantastic! The room was super clean, the amenities were great. There is no bathtub ladies 😭 that was a smidge of a bummer but I was able to live 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️ overall it was a pretty descent place. The staff was great, helpful, friendly...not sure what more you could ask for in society these days. The price was great for the area, simple access to the highway or straight shot down 28th street. It is pet friendly, all rooms from what I was told. That will be helpful to a lot, trust me I spent hours searching and calling. We have a Siberian Husky and he's almost moose status so most places won't let us bring him there. He's too big they say 😣🖕 but not here, they greeted him with a smile just as they did us. Just don't be like some and please leash your pet. I know how mine is, I don't yours. But I promise he will definitely leave his mark if need be. Be respectful is all. Common sense. There was not a bathtub. That's it! Literally the only thing.

The breakfast was decent. My wife is gluten free, so the oatmeal was much appreciated. Would have liked some bacon on some mornings instead of sausage every day. The pool and hot tub were very good, just the right temperatures.

The morning desk clerk was not very accommodating and kind of grumpy. One of the reasons we were in town was a memorial service, and we needed to meet with a financial adviser. We asked if there was a meeting room and he said no. He said we could meet in the business center, but there were only two chairs. We asked if there was another chair we could use, and he said no. The breakfast room was full of chairs, he could have offered to let use use one of them, or let us meet in that room at a table. The evening clerks were very friendly. We were there for 5 days, and we never had any maid service. The sign in our room and in the elevators said room service would be provided every three days.

We loved the location. It was perfect. The price was exactly what we could afford for 3 nights stay.

The shower was quite moldy and was leaking from the shower head and the controls bad enough that we had to leave the shower door closed. Otherwise, the floor would be soaked. The carpet was dirty enough that when you walked on it for a few mins, your feet were filthy. The location of our room was by the stairs, and the elevator was broken down. I should have requested for a different room as I was kept up all night two nights in a row from the constant door slamming and people in and out all night long going up and down the stairs.

Country Inn &Suites was great!!! Booking.com was not I paid booking.com in advance for 2 nights. When I went to check in booking.com had not paid the hotel enough for the room for the 2 nights. Called customer service was hung up on, called back and was told "What do you want me to do about it".

Didn't like booking.com won't EVER use them again. Accidents happens and that's what the customer service line should be there to help with. They were rude and fine to leave us hanging. Country Inn & Suites save our day. Can't recommend them high enough. THEIR customer service is amazing!

This location is very convenient right off the highway and close to major attractions without being in the really congested part of town. It has everything one would need or want in an overnight stay. The free breakfast was much better than expected with hot items. The bathroom was huge. The blackout curtains were a thoughtful bonus.

A few of the guests came in really late and were loud in the hallway. There was a group on a game bus that stayed, so this was probably not their usual issue. Some of the building facia could be repaired or spruced up, but this did not cause any inconvenience.

Rented a room for $100 approximately. I was expecting a bait & switch or hidden fees or something but it was actually just that simple. Showed, up checked in, room was clean and price was as stated. We just needed a place to stay for a night as there was an early appointment. AC worked well and soaps & such available. It is within walking distance to Meijer which is a huge bonus.

Shower was full blast. It was actually painful to stand in. The TV didn't work, it said it needed to find signal. We were too tired to try to fix it and didn't require it. The pool was a bit smaller than expected but a pool was a bonus at all so no complaints there to be honest. The picture does make the pool look large lol.

The staff allowed us to use the breakfast area to set up our pizza and salad dinner for our birthday celebration. We had a blast in the pool and it was the perfect temperature! The waffle maker was on point with crispy waffles yet soft inside. Beds were very comfortable. The check out is at noon so we had more swim time in the morning.

Elevator was old, musty and scary with inconsistent noises. The room next to us had a bachelor party and they were crazy loud all night.

The bathrooms are nice.

The rate was a little high for what you get compared to the area hotels. The room was missing furniture like a chair in the corner. The facility is leaking amenities, as I said comparing others in the area. Plus what this one used to be like. The hot tub is gone and the breakfast sucks they could do a lot better like Fairfield or country inn in Grandville. The price is too much for what it is now

Exceptionally clean! Lots of pillow choices, well stocked towels that weren't tiny and thin. Very nice breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurts, waffles, and more. I didnt expect a lot for the price but was blown away at the value. No signs of bugs..I worked in the hotel industry for 25 years and know what to look for..your cleaning team is top notch!I will definitely be back! Thank you for early check in as well.. can in for a funeral and that really helped us!

Key cards seem to be having issues.. every day had to rekey for us and others. At one time Friday night in my area of the hallway three rooms were trying to get into their room, and all three of us had to go get keys updated. After a long day at a funeral, it wasn't fun to have to go 2 flights down to get Keys updated. Bed springs are very squeky but the beds are very comfy.
