Since we have a pet, the ground floor with access to parking was a high priority. The view of the Big Mac bridge in its changing light and weather was fabulous. Also, the location allows lots of area for walking and is close to downtown and all that it offers. The bed was comfortable and had sported three layers of covers .

The furniture was rustic but too heavy for the room size. The table had too little surface area and was not well lighted. The chairs were bulky and uncomfortable. The coffee machine was not clean; sticky from previous use. The refrigerator was tiny and there was no microwave. The heater/cooler was a bit loud.

We arrived and had a standard room. I wanted to update for a bridge view. The manager accommodated my request and only charged me have of the upgrade. I also had a hairdryer problem and the manager took care of the issue before I returned for the evening. This was great customer service. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing, everything was great. They could have had more options for breakfast.

The staff were helpful. Their customer service style was different and a little curt and defensive. The room was clean, check in check out was great. I suggest they take the wording off booking.com indicating breakfast is included. This puts the staff in a very difficult situation.

Booking.com indicates they have breakfast included. The breakfast included was coffee, tea, hot cocoa and one type of granola bar. The staff confirmed that that's what the hotel calls breakfast. The hotel did serve continental breakfast prior to covid.

Loved the views, the bed was comfortable, there was only one lady doing check in so it took a while but she was doing an excellent job despite guests being rude because she was the only one working. We all need to take a step back & remember when things like this happens to at our jobs & not be rude to employees. All the shops were scooter friendly & our hotel room as well. It was so nice being able to go in everywhere that my family went into

There's nothing I dislike

This was disappointing we seen on their website continental breakfast only a granola bar cocoa and coffee would have liked having a microwave in our room but made do we had to travel to Cheboygan to eat we are breakfast people I would definately go back more prepared with our breakfast food

Just that they let you know that there is no breakfast felt sorry for ones with children that gets costly to drag them out first thing in the morning but we went for the bridge view and it was beautiful we will be better prepared next year❤️we are older so pools and frills are not a deal breaker the view was the best we have had we have stayed at almost every hotel on Huron street best view❤️also the mini fridge was on the floor should be on a stand for sanitation

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. The first time was last summer and then last weekend. Upon checking in this time, I asked if I could have the same room (201) as I did last year because the view you have of the lake and bridge and because it’s a corner room. Ashley who was working at the reception immediately accommodated me so thank you for that! :) I had my wife with me this year and when we walked in the room she loved it! She liked how it was decorated and spacious enough for two people. She had zero complaints about the room or hotel overall and both of us agreed we will return for another stay! :)

The only negative comment I have is the hotel advertises that they have breakfast included which they do not. They serve coffee and granola bars and that’s it. I heard two other guests complaining about this as well. If the hotel removed the “breakfast included” from their advertising, they wouldn’t frustrate so many guests.

The room was nice! Decent size! Was pretty clean. They gave us coupons for local restaurants an a game card for my son. Walking distance from the water. Bridge is right there.

The pool was dirty and definitely had way too much chlorine. The was hair balls everywhere. Hottub was murky. The bed was solid as a rock. We didn't utilize the breakfast, but from other reviews, there wasn't any so we didn't bother.

We were on the third floor with a balcony. You can walk on the balcony and get a nice view of Lake superior.  Room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable.

 Breakfast was a brown paper bag with an apple and a  granola bar. If you’re looking for a place with a full breakfast in the morning, then do not book here. There was a nice restaurant about five blocks away with an inexpensive breakfast that was very good. Third-floor ice machine was out of service. You had to go to second floor. Drink machine on third floor was also out of service.

The room was nice and the place was clean. Good location and easy to get too.

The site stated that there was a continental breakfast and all that was there was a granola bar and coffee/tea. I picked this hotel for the breakfast option. When we travel we pick places that have breakfast so we only have to eat dinner out in the evenings. Kind of disappointing to not have a regular breakfast.

Great room. View was great too. Location plus. Nice room with comfortable furniture! Only issues were breakfast. Lukewarm coffee and a skinny granola bar...that area was not clean and trash had not been taken care of either. Hard to call that a breakfast. Desk did cheerfully give us extra coffee pods when asked. Towels and sheets were very nice. Deco nice too!
