1-LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The main reason we stayed here! Everything is there! 2-The room was VERY comfortable, keeping us cool on these 90 degrees days. It was clean, and well stocked. 3-Great sound proofing, we did not hear anyone in the hallway or next door or the ice machine right across the hallway. 4-Staff was VERY responsive. We asked for an extra pillow; it was there in 2 minutes. 5-Wed evening, farmers market and live music by brewery. Farmers market across from Shu's Saturday am.

1-Hallways not AC'ed and carpet old and dirty 2-Breakfast weak and area's AC not working 3-Not enough luggage carts. Check out was really tough. 4-Pool was not working; was told they did not have a pool. With the weather we had, this was not an issue, but....

This hotel has friendly staff. The front desk personnel are attentive, respectful, and nice. The location was perfect to Silver Beach and downtown. I loved how easy the check-in and out process was, and it had free parking. There were free breakfast great options for picky kids. Staff was patient and refilled breakfast stations when needed. I would definitely stay here again. Once their pool is open, I think the hotel will be even better.

The bathroom toilet kept running, and at times, it wouldn't flush right. Other than that, I thought it was a great hotel.

This is our third or fourth time staying, and they’ve renovated the rooms since we’ve been there last time. They look so updated and modern! Super nice! Hubby and I have always loved the location. We don’t have to use a vehicle to drive anywhere. We can literally walk anywhere we want to go. Our favorite place to go is Chocolate Cafe. But back to the hotel, the staff has always been so kind and friendly every stay as well! We love it there and will always come here!

We went in February where there was too much snow and too cold! Haha nothing else.

The hotel is currently being renovated top to bottom and I believe that we had a room that had already been updated. It was great! Bed was huge and very comfortable, bathroom was clean and a great side.

There were water repairs happening which meant that when the water came back on it was brown and didn’t feel safe to drink. The next morning, we also had very little hot water so only one of us could have a shower. I don’t think this is normal as the day before the shower was perfect. Breakfast was basic to say the least, but it was nice to have something included in the price.

The staff was very accommodating and reacted quickly when a situation arose and we requested a room change. The hotel is very clean with comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area!

It is a shame that the pool is no longer in use. There is a lot of potential for areas once in use if they could be restored. There is a Continental breakfast provided with a decent selection of item although packets of oatmeal along with the cold cereal offerings would be nice.

After reading reviews, I literally tried to cancel my stay and book somewhere else. We ended up staying with Silver Beach because the other hotels that were walking distance to the beach were full... I am so happy we did. We didn't have to pay the ridiculous prices of the nearby resorts and had everything we needed. The location could not have been better and the rooms were clean. This surely isn't an outstanding 4 or 5 star hotel, but there is nothing wrong with it either.

Carpet was definitely worn and the balconies did not come with chairs. I'm sure that as they continue to renovate these things will improve...

Being close to Silver Beach

My room rate was overpriced. I wasn't given the low rate when I booked my room. F. U* cking switch and bate. Next time I will book directly with the hotel and not go with booking .com. I couldn't even use my AARP membership card for a discount when i checked into the Silver. Beach Hotel, because they said I went through Booking .Com. Booking . com sucks. Next time I will call a hotel and make my own reservation. Overcharged when checking in

The location was awesome!! It is right downtown so you can walk to all of the shops. The hotel was undergoing renovations and could use a few more updates. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's nothing fancy but the price and location make it well worth the stay and we would definitely stay again.

The hot water did not work in our room. We called the front desk and they told us it could take a little longer due to the renovations. However, we were unable to get it to work so they moved us to another room. The hot water worked great in the new room and we appreciated how quickly the staff worked with us to resolve the problem. One suggestion is to install some hooks or a closet bar to hang coats and your clothes.

Great location right downtown. Walkable to shops, restaurants and beach. Great value. Rooms were clean and comfortable beds. One of our rooms did have a bad smoke odor but the staff quickly relocated us to an acceptable room.

Rooms are dated but they were clean and comfortable. The hotel is currently being renovated and the staff commented that we were staying in some of the older rooms so next time we are back we will request a newer room, if available. But, overall the location makes up for any shortfalls in the rooms. Will stay again.

The location was perfect, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was very clean.

We wished there would have been a microwave in the room, but we were able to run down to the lobby area and use one there. Also the Keurig coffee maker was not working. They did offer to switch it out, but we made other arrangements. It was not a big deal for either item.
