I was very impressed with the fact that the breakfast had warm foods as well as cold foods. I thought that the swimming pool was ok but could have had bigger towels provided in the pool area. I was especially impressed with the staff for being willing and able to give extra towels to accommodate us for the towels in the pool area. The staff was very friendly and treated us well during our stay.

The only thing that I found lacking in our stay was the fact that the pillows on the beds were the size of throw pillows and there was only a blanket for the pullout bed no sheets. but the staff gave us an extra blanket to make up for that.

The breakfast was typical of this kind of place. The employee who was servicing the breakfast was excellent. She never stopped working and was available to answer any questions.

I was on the third floor. There was a party going on out in the hall and it was late at night. Opening your door and requesting directly for a lowering of volume is usually not effective. I put in my earplugs and solved that problem. I saw another guest the next day who commented on it. She said she called the front desk and they took care of it.

Booked at king room with spa bath for 267$ Pictures on booking showed a jacuzzi tub in the room. Got there and our room just had a regular bathtub. Went to talk to the lady and she said that booking gets people like this all the time and that it's just a regular tub with jets...except in our room 205 there were no jets at all in the tub. Luckily Carla was so nice and gave us the last room with the jacuzzi. Definitely made our anniversary trip better. We come here every year and never had an issue so I will definitely book through the hotel next time. I was told I paid 40$ more through booking anyway. So happy because 280$ for a room with no spa bath is insane!!!

Very clean and spacious for a family of 5 with 2 teens. Great breakfast! Eggs,sausage, biscuits and really awesome gravy. Cereal milk, fresh fruit, several grab and go options. They had 24 hr tea, coffee, hot cocoa and lemon 🍋 ice water. Pool big enough and warm and clean. Over all a great value for our family. About 15 mins from silver beach.

The only thing I did not love was the floor around the pool. It was rough on my feet but really no biggie at all.

The staff was very friendly and very responsive to things we asked for, from information about the directions to things to do. The free breakfast was good and offered the usual things from waffles to cereal. They also offered free lemon water and coffee all day.

The room was clean but a little outdated. Could use a facelift as the sofa was "well used." The lighting in the bathroom needs to be updated and brighter.

Location was great and easy to find. Staff was very helpful. I asked for a quiet room so the clerk gave me a room on the top floor in the corner (and near the stairs, which was a bonus as I prefer stairs). The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful.

The closet needed more hangers. The bathroom lighting is a bit too dark for putting on makeup.

Where to start? The check in with Karen (?) Smooth and Friendly A+ Interaction during the stay with Terry A+. Housekeeping A+, yes they cleaned the room everyday without being asked. I didn't think they did that anymore. Our 6th motel stay in Michigan in the last 10 years and I wished we had known about this place the other 5 times.

In regards to what I didn't like has nothing to do with the hotel. It has to do with the Jets Pizza that delivers to the hotel. 45 minute wait and the pizza wasn't even what was on the ticket.

Everything about this location was great, all of the staff were amazing, very clean, great breakfast, the pool and hot tub are very nice and had great hours. The location is so close to our favorite beach. The price was also the best in the area for comparable hotels. We will definitely be back

Night staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds are very comfortable. The facility was very clean and smelled good

The pool looked dated. The hot tub floor felt like broken concrete. The washer was also dated and no matter how many times you pressed the cold it washed your clothes in hot water.

Excellent idea - to have a double queen - gives teen the privacy they need yet connected without having to just get another room. A good fit for what we needed will recommend!
