Whoever was working at the desk for check in/out was fantastic! I'm forgetting her name unfortunately, but she was a total sweetheart and helped us with every issue and question we had, including needing new room keys and lock ins. She even took the time to come around and make sure our dog was included and told the other employee (I assume trainee) that she had heard so much about Molly and had to meet her before we left. Beds were comfortable with lots of floor space between the bed and the window (retractable blinds and curtains let in tons of filtered sunlight) so we had plenty of room to set up a dog bed, get bags completely out of the way, move while we changed, packed, etc. The bathroom was immaculate with a spacious, comfortable shower, extra toilet paper, plenty of towels (seriously, I've never been given enough towels on night 1, and there were tons.) Despite the location not being exactly what we wanted (right next to the highway behind a walmart, general surrounding area aside from other hotels is a little rundown) you're no more than 20 minutes from St Joe and all it has to offer at a MUCH better price point. This is absolutely going to be a regular spot when we travel the area. I hope to see the same friendly faces next time, it really made our stay enjoyable!

We saw a hot tub pictured and were definitely a little disappointed to not have that amenity.

Very nice room and good location

The coffee in the lobby had coffee grounds in it both days. The hotel is located right next to I 94 which was a little noisy at night while you were trying to sleep with our room facing the highway.

It was comfort from the moment we walked in the door from the frigid cold. The free tea was very welcoming, the room was spacious, newly renovated and had allergy free skin care supplies.

Very efficient check in. Given a decent room on the top floor. Room very clean and everything worked. No surprises

It was a nice place. We ate dinner at the bar, the food was great. The hot tub was working and very relaxing. The grounds, building and rooms were clean and maintained well.

The beds are very uncomfortable. Like trying to sleep on a board. Not enough plug ins for computer/phones. One of the plug in over the desk looks like it had been burnt.

Almost didn’t get our room because the person at front desk couldn’t figure out the booking system

Omelette portion was huge. Get in early so the cook is not in a rush. They do not like that.

I think that I was a bit afraid of the crime rate in Benton Harbor. I was there to spend time in St Joseph which is very different community given the racial divide. Water quality not excellent. Suggest travelers use bottle water to brush their teeth.

Location, staff, and pool

Didn't realize the hot breakfast will be an extra. But the server was pleasant and the food was good.

Staff was excellent and room was clean

Mattress was way too soft and lumpy. Toilet paper was one step up from sandpaper

Clean quiet hotel

Very simple but poor restaurant menu , lack of bar staff and dedicated Restaurant staff !! Meant slow service !!!
