Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, comfy beds, and clean pool, etc!

The front desk member was a bit abrupt at first (was frustrated with booking.com issue). The issue was nothing on either his or our end and he apologized for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, it took around 45 minutes to get our room due to third party booking reasons with Booking.

The hotel and room were nice, the pool was very cold however.

The night staff older gentleman was a nice man however, my 3rd party booking had issues on their end and the man made sure to let me know the lady in the morning didn't add sales tax so I got charged less... However with the booking.com they did add it and was the same price as the night before ( we extended our stay)... He made sure to let me know it wasn't done right on their end and I showed him and explained to him I paid the full price as the day before... And he made sure I knew the lady messed up the booking to the 3rd party booking which wasn't my fault.

The building looked well kept up and the inside lobby was nice as well. The room was clean as well.

The pool was so cold and that was a disappointment since there was no hot tub to warm up in. My kids lips were blue and they were just shivering. The surrounding area was run down and kind of sketchy, we made sure to not leave the hotel in the evening.

Very clean and large suite. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good. There were a lot of options. Coffee,tea, or hot cocoa in the lobby was really nice to be able to grab a cup on the way in or out.

Lighting was a bit dim in the bathroom, in my opinion. There were no luggage carts. Also,this is a cashless property.

The property was really nice and clean!

One of the morning front desk crew was watching my family & I during breakfast. Made us uncomfortable. Made us feel like we were being watched as we were going to make a mess or take too much food or something.

The hotel's team was outstanding and clearly well trained. Everyone I interacted with was personable, professional and knew what they were doing. I'd cheerfully stay there again if I'm anywhere near that area. The breakfast presentation was clean, quality of the food was as good as one expects from a limited service hotel's complimentary breakfast and the attendant was spot on with everything from refresh to cleanup.

The hallways were quite cold as was my room until I got the thermostat adjusted up about 5 degrees from where it was set. There was a cove tile missing in the bathroom but other than these nitpicks, it's quite a good hotel. There was an automatic incidental charge added to my bill that I wasn't made aware of but, again, that's nitpicky once it comes off.

Our family loves to visit St. Joseph's, but, the accommodations are limited in the town proper. Benton Harbor is a quick 3-4 mile drive to St. Joe's. The room was large enough for our family of 5 which is often difficult to find. I thought the facility was brand new because it looked updated and really well maintained, but, learned it was 7 years old. Everything smelled fresh and clean, the staff was friendly and approachable, the free breakfast had a lot of variety and changed daily. My husband and I enjoyed the fire pit in the evening as well.

We were really please with everything.

Comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator. Desk top for food display and area above fridge for food storage. Nice couch.

No towels upon arrival. No room cleaning. Not reminded you have to request a cleaning upon check in.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good and fresh.

Had a bad chair in my room by the desk. I told the woman at the counter, and she quickly found a replacement.

I loved the modernness and space of the room.

Breakfast was some variation of eggs, sausage (links or patties) and bacon (1 time in the 7 days we stayed there)
