It was a very nice, clean, neat looking hotel! The pool and hot tub were excellent!

The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing. What you would normally get for a free complimentary breakfast was $19. It was just your run-of-the-mill average at best continental breakfast! I recommend ordering off the menu or running somewhere else to grab breakfast. I also found it a bit strange, that when checking in and presenting my credit card, the terminal doesn't tell you how much it's charging your card. When I asked the clerk he said he can't tell me. I just don't believe that it's okay for you to ask to run somebody's card and not tell them m how much you're running it for! Makes no sense!

We liked the fun, local decor, and the convenient location. The room was comfortable and quiet. The highlight was breakfast, delicious, and the staff in the dining room were friendly and helpful, thanks for the terrific hospitality.

It was busy in the pool the night we stayed due to a volleyball team that was there, and the hotel was not keeping towels stocked, but we enjoyed the pool and hot tub

We like the way it was felt like coming home and being comfortable and being to enjoy the relaxing environment of the hotel.

The climate control was very nice but there was a musky smell when in use as the air conditioning and heating system was rather dirty like someone had spilled something on it. It was not a big problem of the stay there but it was more cleanness and smell of the heating and cooling system that just made it uncertain to use it.

Staying at the Renaissance is always amazing! The facilities smell amazing, the staff are helpful, and most of all, the beds are comfortable, and the feather pillows are the best part! We always enjoy the Lounge and free food and drink.

Decor throughout, mattress, linens, quality of toiletries and details overall, breakfast (they were understaffed on our morning, but very nice and competent, and the food was good)

We discovered that our room looked out onto the basement pool, which would have been good to know in advance--the 8 am kid swim crowd is a little incongruent with a late night, but there were plenty of good pillows to sandwich our heads with to block out the noise. Also, apparently one needs to negotiate a free breakfast at check in? It would be nice if that were more apparent, too.

Absolutely everything was spectacular! The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in as a family of 6. The rooms are so inviting and cozy, they make you feel right at home. The decor is outstanding! Very comfortable beds and a bathroom with a tiled walk in shower, superb! We had a king suite with a connecting two queen beds room for our 4 kids, very spacious and convenient. We very much enjoyed the gym, very big pool and hot tub in the evening to relax. Breakfast was AMAZING including the service! Looking forward to staying here again.

I reaslly liked the staff and how very helpful they were especially Haley and Nicole. Bartender, Jerry, very personable. Liz in the restaurant an asset to the staff.

You need to install a couple grab bars in the shower for older people. The pool area smelled of chlorine a little much.

We loved the hotel! This was our first time there and would definitely stay again. The staff, lobby, bar, and room was very nice!

The only thing I have to critical on is the lights in the bathroom. The dim lighting made it very hard for us to get ready the next day. My husband had to shave, etc., and I had to put my makeup on and do my hair. The poor lighting made is difficult for us to get ready since we couldn't see ourselves very well.

This was our first time staying at the Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel and we were pleasantly surprised to find such an interesting and tastefully-decorated interior. It's quite unique and very lovely! The beds were exceptionally comfortable and bedding was top notch! The biggest surprise was the lack of carpeting in the rooms! I much prefer bare floors but this may be a deal-breaker with folks that have young children.

Comfy and clean room. It had a few quirks (washroom door didn’t fully latch, the light by the door needed to warm up before it became bright), but the walls were thick (didn’t hear our neighbours at all), the bed was comfy, the decor was really cool, and it was fun to explore!
