The Staff was great,Mark at the front desk went above and beyond for us,he makes the stay worth the time..The front desk clerk at our check out was great as well on 8/10/2025.while leaving I fell down and she was right there taking care of me..I fell due to health issues and that young lady took care of me..I would HIGHLY recommend Spring Hills to all travelers.. This hotel was right across the street from where I had surgery @ the Mayo Clinic, breakfast was doable at the hotel (hot basic buffet)but we just walked down the block to the Canadian Honker and then to Caribou Coffee because we had lots of time to waste! Seriously, appt. not until 11:15 @ Mayo, and we're early risers! I also used the hot tub the night before, which was great! Snack options were plentiful, as well as coffee, decaf, and hot tea available all day in the lobby. There were cookies too! We only stayed 2 nights (not even really planning on the 2nd night as my surgery was outpatient). We ended up taking advantage of our reservation the 2nd night because I didn't get out of the clinic until 8 pm, and we were both tired and starving. We ordered Uber eats from the nearby KFC (took only 20 minutes), lady at the front desk brought us extra pillows, as I had surgery on my head (thank you!). We then went to bed....& drove back to the Twin Ports the next morning. There is a shuttle to all points at the Mayo that stops at this hotel, and a paper schedule is available as well as a map of Rochester. All very helpful. Also, laundry facilities are in the hotel, with detergent and dryer sheets available at the front desk. We didn't use these, but good to know if we ended up being there longer!

Note, our 1st room had an unpleasant order and backed up toilet. Staff was very accommodating and let us switch rooms immediately. Second room was great, however later in the stay, we had another backed up toilet, which was fixed promptly with no other mishaps! The toilet issues might have just been us, but great response from hotel staff! Rooms are not overly large, but all rooms are suites. We had the king size bed option, which was perfect for the two of us. The 2 queen size bed option was quite a bit bigger (I peeked in while housekeeping was cleaning), and better for families.

I loved everything about the property, the staff being #1. They were the nicest group of people I’ve ever experienced at a hotel hands down. It was always clean and always someone around to help. It was also across the street from St.Marys campus, which was the reason for our stay. Breakfast was also great with many options. It’s also close walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. The pool and hot tub were also very nice.

There’s honestly nothing I did not like about the property.

This property was not handicap accessible. Parking in front of the motel was non existent. The main entrance door was hardly visible to the street and it was difficult to determine how to enter the building. Parking was limited and we parked in the back of the building and had to climb steps up into the building when both my husband and I have difficulty with stairs.

Free outdoor parking! Its worth repeating - free outdoor parking! I hate paying for parking. Location is great - walking distance to Francis building entrance at MAYO St Marys hospital campus. Nice, clean, well appointed comfortable room with two TV’s - one in front of couch, one in front of bed. Breakfast is the typical hot cold fare - and was good and plentiful. Did I mention “free parking”????

Zero complaints from me to be honest.

I'm normally not fond of staying in hotels but when I arrived I had card trouble and the front desk staff was so patient and kind. Our room (other than being a little toasty) was a nice size with a bed that was so super comfy! What a treat! Upon my exit the front desk staff, again, was so sweet! My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Parking was a little tight. Be understandable with the city and room available.

I liked the warm oatmeal for breakfast and the option of waffles, eggs and bacon & sausage. (I didn't eat the eggs so I don't know if they were from a mix or not. The staff was friendly, warm and kind. The location is right across from St Mary's/Mayo Clinic, very convenient for visiting patients.

I can't think of anything that I needed or wanted that wasn't provided.

It’s close to restaurants! The people at the desk were very friendly and helpful to address our concerns.

The beds were very soft and uncomfortable to sleep on especially for us cause we have bad backs otherwise it was a great place to stay!

The staff was over the top wonderful! Hotel clean, kept up, comfortable and staff so accommodating, attentive and friendly. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while and would definitely stay again and recommend.

The location was excellent, very easy to get to and the staff was extremely friendly. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and this staff was by far the friendliest!

We had a very short stay and didn't use any of the facilities or breakfast so I don't know of anything that could be improved.
