The breakfast was amazing. And the cooks and staff each morning was so amazing. I can’t think them enough as they started our morning out just right. There was a house keeper lady and she was super friendly. Greeted us in the hall every morning and recommended various spots to take our children. She was 5 stars for sure!

The way to the pool was not very clear. The construction workers made us feel weird. They were creepy. The pool was also cold. The website stated an indoor and outdoor pool but not that it joined together. That should be more clearer. My choice of stay might have been different as my kids hardly wanted to swim because they were so cold from the water. Thank goodness was for the sauna whenever it worked.

All the hotel staff that we interacted with were great. From the reception team, to maintenance staff, to the kitchen and dining room staff everyone had a smile on their face and seemed genuinely glad that we were there. The breakfast was excellent. We did not use the gym due to our schedule, but it looked clean and very nicely equipped.

The parking situation was not good for our situation. We have a Sprinter van and it is too tall to go in the attached parking garage. There are three spots outside the hotel that you can use on a first come first served basis or for $30 they hotel will reserve you a surface spot at the road.

Hotel is very attractive inside - spacious, chandeliers, etc. The check-in process seemed...I don't know, kinda like we should expect a random assault. Staff was behind plexiglass and not that welcoming for such a nice looking hotel. Room was very good. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Parking was free - getting to parking lot from hotel and back to the room is probably easiest by going outside then walking to the garage (or vice versa). Getting there within the hotel - bring breadcrumbs or a map. There are a lot of twists and turns to get there and back. Breakfast was a combination of rather typical hotel breakfast buffet, and made to order omelets and waffles. I only had the buffet as I was not that hungry. Enjoyed the fresh fruit, biscuit, and a small amount of precooked eggs. Checking out - also not a warm and friendly feeling. Told them about the refillable toiletries being empty and a non-functioning outlet. They seemed uninterested in knowing. So to sum it up - it was what one would want in a hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet, relaxing rooms but we didn't feel like any one cared.

it annoys me that there is an automatic $50 deposit on room damage, that will take 3-5 days to be refunded. In theory, I just loaned the hotel $50 but will not get interest when they pay it back. Given the size of the hotel this must be a good income stream. Nearly all hotels have a policy that we will be billed if we smoke in a non-smoking room.... upon check in our credit card is on file. It's as though the expectation is we WILL indeed smoke, and while smoking will be sure to cancel our credit card (or as stated above, it's clever income stream).

The rooms are very nice, large, seem newly renovated with tile flooring [no carpet]. The bathroom was nice with a make up mirror and hair dryer. I also loved the programable shower. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast includes omelet and waffle station which was very nice along with a full buffet.

Parking was a little inconvenient as the entrance which I have used in the past right near the front hotel entrance was blocked off and we had to go around the block to another building's entrance to access the garage. Not a huge deal but we had just had several inches of snow.

Clean and comfortable King room. The entire hotel property was spotless. As it was on our previous stay last summer. The breakfast here is fantastic. i would say that this is our favorite hotel breakfast. Plenty of offerings on the regular buffet. Then you add the waffle and omelet station is over the top. The gentleman working the station is fabulous. He was at the hotel on our last visit too. friendly and funny antidotes while your eggs are cooking. The staff at this hotel is just phenomenal. From the front desk staff, to housekeeping to engineering to breakfast staff. We felt like family with all of the staff interactions. This hotel is conveniently located for what se do in St. Louis. Already looking forward to the January visit it to St. Louis! We'll be back!

Breakfast was great. When it was stated buffet style I assumed the usual fair, waffle machine, cereal, muffins, etc... They had a true breakfast buffet, oatmeal, grits, hash, eggs (including made to order fried eggs and custom omelets), B's&G's, sausage and the all important coffee bar. Building is older and you can tell at times, but it was clean, well lit, comfortable and felt secure. Parking was easy and free in the adjoining parking garage. Just get validated say the front desk before you leave. We'll definitely check out the Clayton next time we're in town staying over!

Signage could be improved as if you weren't sure which elevator you needed you could get to the wrong side of the complex and not find your room (we were confused when we got to the 6th floor only to find it ended at room 625 and we were in the 690's!). Easy fix, just went next to the lobby and got on the other elevator and we were good to go then. Passed another guest who had a similar issue. Nothing though that would make me not return. Again, we'll definitely consider this location again next time we're in town.

I love the high-ceilinged, open lobby area. The "executive" king room was quite spacious and dead quiet. The price: You're paying much less for comparable hotels in the area, probably because they're in the process of modernizing and building up clientele. The hotel has a diverse staff always ready with a smile and a helping hand. A pretty nice breakfast with omelet and waffle bar...

The parking situation is a little wonky, with a fresh validation required each time one leaves and enters the garage. Could really use a small refrigerator in the room!

All the staff front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was well stocked with a variety of breakfast items, and again, the staff did their job with care and pride. The hotel is not fancy but was clean, spacious and perfectly located. The price point was great for me.

Was not told that there were 2 sets of elevators, one of which did not go to my floor. The safe did not work. Some air vents were covered with dust. Did not know that the hotel bath amenities were non existent.. but I guess that’s why the hotel is inexpensive.

The nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at!! I was very impressed! I couldn’t believe how nice the hotel was. I’ve stayed at hotels for the same price that weren’t half as nice. The staff was always happy to help. The room was beautiful. I couldn’t believe how nice the bathrooms were with marble tubs and controlled water where you can adjust the temperature. The complimentary breakfast was awesome! I would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend highly.

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like. Maybe the vending machines could have been fuller because we had to try different floors to find drinks. That’s about it, it was fabulous.

Breakfast was good, hadn't had one like that before. Staff was nice and helpful; hotel was pretty and clean.

Breakfast was good, but website is misleading; it says restaurant on site I assumed for more than just breakfast, but it was only for breakfast. Room, I got 2 queen beds, but they seemed small more like 2 double beds, they weren't big enough for my family, so we didn't get much sleep. And game room wasn't that great only a few games that worked everything else was broke.
