Very nice resort

There was a guy working the front desk. I believe his name was yar. He was so rude to me. I went to the office to ask a question and he made it look like he wouldn’t help me. Thank god another man was there and apologized and helped me. We stayed there for over a week and this guy really pissed me off. There was a guy named Chris that works there and he was the BEST! So was Tammy and her husband Ralph great people and these three were hard workers.

Location was great 👍 and the amenities were good. The staff was great and I cannot say enough about Chris who was there for our every need. This man deserves so much more recognition than he is given because he is the only reason that I would consider returning.

The air conditioner kept leaking water into our room which resulted in wet carpeting. They tried to fix it twice but it did not work. The paint was peeling off the ceiling and there was missing tile work in the bathroom. The wood was so rotted on the balcony that I was afraid to lean on the railing.

The room was somewhat dated but it was comfortable. We did notice that they were doing some work around the facillity both in and outside. Chris the utillity slash doorman is very cordial and helpful to everyone, a nice man. The check-in was a breeze and the room was ready for our stay.

The air conditioner was on and off quite frequently, my wife pulled the filters and noticed they were completely full. We cleaned them and the air conditioner was better.

Staff was excellent very friendly and inviting. The door man was the friendliest person I encountered. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean.

The soap in the bathroom was empty and the grounds had a lot of trash down towards the pool. That is on visitors and people not picking up after themselves. Unfortunately it doesn't look great for the hotel though.

It was okay, but felt for the staff who was sadly short handed. But allowed us to make ourselves at home and kick back. They made us comfortable.

Housekeeping was lacking but like the cafe, they too were short handed.

Very easy to locate. Lakeview room looks out over part of the lake. Our room was clean. Bathroom was very clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

The only thing I didn’t like was there was really no place to take my dog potty but we managed.

Has the friendliest staff of any hotel we've stayed in the last few years. Great location, good food from bar/restaurant area and a pretty good breakfast buffet.

It's a older hotel and could use some updates.

Jennifer was very friendly and informed us of what was happening around the weekend.

Always enjoyed relaxing in the bar at the end of the night and having the breakfast in the morning so was a little upset when it was closed all weekend.

Lovely view of lake, lobby was beautiful.

Not much offered for during the week, no breakfast available (I thought it was advertised as available for $ in the restaurant, but apparently not during the week).

Staff allowed us to check earlier in than their stated terms, which was great. We had to leave earlier than expected due to health issues. The front desk was extremely understanding and issued a credit immediately for the one night that we didn't use. We really appreciated that. Told us we needed to contact booking to confirm cancellation and refund.

Pillows on the beds were horrible, like sleeping on bricks. Mattresses were just fine. Everything else in the room was just fine. When we left that is when the problems started. Attempted to contact Booking several different times to follow up with Booking per instruction from the property. Booking reps either didn't have a clue what they were doing or didn't give a hoot. Was hung up on twice. Inn at Grand Glaize has already issued a credit, now it is time for your company to take care of their portion of the equation.
