We love the location! It’s in the middle of a lot of things! Plus the pool is always great and clean! The ladies that checked us in we’re fabulous and very informative! They even upgraded our room for free! The same with the bartender the 2nd night at the tiki bar! We got lost in talking and brought our food right to us because we didn’t hear the pager! She was fabulous and so friendly.

The Rooftop could use some love! When we went, it wasn’t very clean from the night before. Broken bottles, broken umbrellas, and dirty tables. Same with the waterfall on the inside. Was very sad it wasn’t working. Also pretty to see.

Wonderful pool . Hot tub water was very hot loved that . Staff was friendly. Hardly any people there though

This place can really use some love !!! It’s been neglected far too long !!! Rooms need a lift and better pillows. The whole lodge is in desperate need of remodel. Pictures our no where near what it actually looks like. It’s definitely run down. With a remodel I’m sure it will be booked and packed again . So much potential with this place.

I loved the overall ambiance and numerous amenities at “The Lodge”. The pool options were great and the rooftop was fun! Breezes restaurant was spot on for breakfast or lunch and Fire and Ice poolside bar had yummy cocktails and spicy street tacos. Our room was clean and cozy with a peaceful view of the lake and very private patio. Finally, the lodge is in a great location, easy to access from highway 54 and just a short drive to Bagnell Damn for some solid shopping, boat/kayak/wave runner rental and plenty of night life!

I absolutely hated the constant, loud and annoying 70’s rock that they played in the lobby all restaurants, even HKs and all the pools. HKs which was highly recommended was a huge disappointment. A lot of my disappointment was related to very poor service and the raunchy 70’s music. In all fairness the scallops we had were fabulous and the wine selection solid.

Friendly staff, cheap room, restaurants on site, the pool, great vibes!!

The railing is worrisome on the patio, bathroom was dirty with someone else’s hair on the shower wall (felt almost dirtier after showering), extremely loud people next door and in hallway til 2am could not sleep.

The pools are awesome! Not overly crowded and friendly stuff! And the beds and rooms are nice and the view is amazing!

There's no continental breakfast... However, there is food in the hotel, but with the fee , I would expect a continental breakfast. Also, the air kept kicking off one night, so it took him until the next morning to actually fix the problem in my room.

I like that it met the needs for my family. We all needed a mental break. It was relaxing sitting out on the patio of our room, relaxing at the pool and the kids are normally hard to please. We had no complaints.

I did not like the distance to walk to our room and to the main conference center. My husband can not walk very far. But we drove our car up to the conference center and found that we could park on the backside of room if there was available space

Exceptional staff, very polite, attentive and helpful. Beautiful resort - pools, views, room size. Really enjoyed having breakfast and watching sunsets on the balcony.

Accessibility is an issue, could benefit from auto door openers, elevator to the main pool, handles in bathrooms, walk-in showers.

Front desk personal were very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant closed way to early. It was already closed when we were ready for dinner. We had to settle for expensive wraps with hardly any meat in them and salads.Have to say the salads were large though. Also our toilet did not flush properly even after maintenance worked on it!

Location to events we were attending and amenities at the resort even though we did not get to use all of them.

View from our room window was not great. Just a bunch of rooftops, no balcony, parking was scarce when arriving later in evening, and curtains my have been hung wrong and would not close all the way.

For what you pay to stay they should offer a complimentary breakfast

A complimentary breakfast would be nice and letting one know about the 50 dollar a night deposit when booking would be better
