I've stayed at several Comfort Inns around the country in the past several years and I think this one in Springfield is the best one. Great staff!!! Especially the guy who makes the cookies and puts them on the counter for guests! I will be back there in the near future and will book my stay at this hotel. Great location, VERY comfortable and clean!

The only thing I could say, and it's not a huge deal, is the toilets in the rooms seem like they're more for little kids than adults! I'd rather see adult toilets in there. Sitting down on the ones there is uncomfortable when you my height, and I'm only 5'10". Anyone taller than me would really find it an issue!

Good location

The breakfast lady was very unfriendly & rude to many of the customers while we sat & ate our breakfast. My husband & I both tried to make her smile & say good morning & we got stares & eye rolls . She would slam door that went to kitchen area & wouldn’t say excuse me if someone was getting food, but she would just butt in & put more food in trays as customers were in the process of getting food. Everyone has a bad day, but not sure this isn’t just her attitude.

Great location next to an IHOP restaurant. Two coffee makers in the room was unusual but we were pleased with the Keurig machine and the k-cups provided.

The plumbing was shabby overall. The toilet rocked noticeably, faucets were loose on the sink and the shower, and the shower made a horrendous squealing sound unless the diverter was jiggled to just the right position. The chairs were just not comfortable to sit it, the upholstered chair was very small and had no ottoman.

Decided to try this Comfort Inn because we want to chill in a hot tub after a long few days at a conference. We typically stay at another brand name hotel, but chose to go here. The pool and hottub were clean and we were impressed with the variety of the breakfast. We would stay again if in the area.

The room had a somewhat musty smell at first. Not sure if it was the AC as we didn't notice it once we left and came back.

Best hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. I was very impressed. Every staff member I interacted with was top notch. The front desk people were friendly. The breakfast staff checked on items regularly and offered a large tray to a guest who was taking plates of food to his room for his family. I’ve never been to a hotel with such a welcoming staff.

One of the beds in my room had a lot of dog hair on it. I’m allergic, so it didn’t make for the best experience.

We love the location and the room was quiet ( no rattling heat unit or dripping sink). We didn't eat breakfast so we can't say much about that. The price was fair, so no complaints there. The parking was well lit and easy to excess from the main highway.

Not much to complain about but if I'm going to mention anything I would say the pillows were to soft for my liking but that's just my preference. The only real thing that bugged me was at checking in the two at the desk were really involved with watching videos on the phone they didn't realize that I was there for a couple of mins.

My great grandson loved the pool. Bathroom could use some updating but everything worked and it was fine for us. My daughter's loved the hot tub. Everything was clean and nice. Will probably stay again if I get to make another trip. Didn't understand it said 2 rooms and 2 beds but only had one room. But over all had a very pleasant stay...

It was good

First impressions as we walked in, very clean & smelled fresh. Staff were accommodating & friendly. Check in went fast. No issues with room cards during our stay. The room was very clean and fresh too. The bed was extremely comfortable. 5 stars on the bed!!!!! We would stay here again just for the bed. Check out was just as easy. Great restaurants in the area very close for alternative breakfast. We didn’t use the pool.

1)We tried the breakfast but the biscuits were undercooked, sausage was bland. We nicknamed the breakfast “bunker food”. I think that sums up breakfast pretty well. We tossed it and went to McDonalds around the corner. Huge improvement. 2) toilet is very short. Lol Aim well my friend.

My son and his family stayed while visiting for Christmas from NC. They really enjoyed everything just wish we could of received a lil discount, but apparently while going through the channels online to book the room, it was a 3rd party and couldn't make any changes. What ever happened to customer service in America!?

Very nice, clean, quick check-in. I have been at three comfort inns in the last two weeks. I really liked that the beds at this one were lower than the other two comfort inns. The hotels in Louisville, Kentucky and Belleville Ill were also nice, but the beds were so high off the floor that I struggled to get in them,

The only issue I had was that I forgot one of my handouts, so I went to the "business center" to print off a copy to take to my presentation, I could not get into my email. Every time I tried the person who used the computer before me their email would show up. Even though the screen showed my email as being there I could not access it. I asked for help at the front desk and the associate told me he did not know enough about computers to help. He suggested I use the other computer and reboot the one I was on. I closed the computer I was on but could not get it to restart and the associate had no idea how to turn the computers on. This was a disappointment and I was not able to get a copy of the handout I had hoped to get.
