Our stay was quiet even though the hotel was very busy. The decor is simple and trendy. The staff at the front desk and the coffee shop where very friendly and interactive with the guests! The giant cinnamon roll was delicious and the black coffee was perfect. Parking lot was well lit at night and felt very safe. We ordered dinner at the bar, chicken tenders, fried fish and fries and we felt it was a great choice. The fire pit was warm and nice while we chatted with some other guests in a light drizzle.

No complimentary brewed coffee in the morning, Our stay did not include breakfast, though some packages offer it we weren't offered that option on booking.com. The price of the breakfast buffet was $16. Muffins and donuts were very dry and pancakes seemed to have been microwaved too long and were stiff. Big difference from the dinner options.

The hotel looks very nice in the inside lobby and the room and beds are clean and neat. Parking was easy and there were plenty of spaces. The workout room was nice and there is an inside AND outside pool. There is fresh, clean water in the fitness area to fill your drink cups. The lobby bathrooms were very nice and clean.

There were no tissues in the room and the tub was a bit old looking, needing new caulk and a better scrub down. The air conditioner took a while to cool down the room, but worked alright over time. There was no laundry bag in the room. The door was old and you could see it was broken at some point and light came through from the outside along the section that was vertical, closest to the knob. There is no complimentary breakfast during the week, only on the weekends.

It was clean, fairly nice design, indoor and outdoor pool, has a small gym, comfortable rooms, we got our $75 deposit back

Our room didnt have a pool view like it said it would, the hotel charged us more than what booking stated even with the deposit returned to us, booking says breakfast included but when we went to the breakfast buffet it was $15 per person which we refused to pay for food that's been sitting out for however long, the pool had big blobs of hair and other debris, the hotel needs some remodeling as it is a bit outdated and needs fresh paint and some repair.

The main atrium area is spacious and lovely. It's a great place to relax in the late afternoon, and see the other guests of the hotel. There was an Akita dog show going on while I was there, and handlers were staying at the hotel with their dogs. It was special to see all the dogs in the atrium! Loved it!

The bed I had, while lovely to look at, was not very comfortabel to sleep in. Also, I had no maid service while I was there. I stayed two nights, and no one ever came to clean the room while I was there.

Its very pretty. The staff helped us well in every way. We didn't know a room didn't have refrig in them and I needed one for my meds. They quickly helped us out. The little resteraunt at the front cooks real good food. The free shuttle was VERY helpful to the airport.

The place is cold!!!! Good thing we have thermostats in the room. The wi dows could be cleaner to see the sunshine but that can't be helped.

We were put in poolside suites when we had reserved regular rooms. The upgrade was nice but we were charged more as well. We were tired from our trip so we didnt argue and just enjoyed the rooms. The front desk lady was extremely sweet and friendly. We stayed during the week so the place was pretty vacant. The poolside suites rooms were huge and led right out to the outdoor pool. Overall the property itself looked like it could use a little sprucing up in a few places but overall it was a nice hotel.

There was a little trash under the counter in the bathroom and our curtains looked like they had something spilled on them towards the bottom and wasn't the cleanest. There was also no breakfast in the morning but they did have a cute little cafe inside the hotel.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, and my kids enjoyed the option to swim in- or outside (the outside pool was warmer)..

The breakfast was not great. The eggs tasted like plastic, the pancakes were hard, and there weren't as many options as other hotels. Breakfast is $15 for adults and $7.50 for kids. If breakfast is included in your booking, you have to ask the front desk for your voucher or you'll be told to pay, and they won't tell you that beforehand.

Was under the assumption breakfast was included, and it wasn’t. Actually very very expensive, the staff working the breakfast bar was very very very adamant about the time breakfast was over as in a rushing type of way, not very friendly. Then disappeared for long periods of times when customers were waiting needing help with their food or questions regarding the breakfast bar. But the food was good great selection of food

Being able to walk to the historic downtown area and the university easily was a huge plus. The hotel itself and the rooms were spotless, which I appreciated. But what truly stood out was the friendly and helpful staff.

It is an older hotel, even though it's clear the hotel hasn't seen significant updates in some time. While the decor and furnishings feel a bit dated, this didn't detract from the overall comfort and service we experienced.

Great location — can walk to many places within a reasonable distance. Staff very responsive and helpful. Quiet room with a nice view. Great atrium lobby space.

Not really a “don’t like” but the interior carpet and furnishings are getting a bit worn since the hotel is a few decades old. We are willing to ignore this due to the other positives the hotel has to offer.
