The staff were very personable and efficient. They were quick to respond to every request. The room was roomy and comfortable as was the bed. Great experience!

The one thing I did not like, Hampton Inn could not help. I did not like the city of Springfield, MO. The wildlife drive through was a disappointment and so was the Wilson Creek Battlefield.

Picked this chain as we'd had a positive experience in one in Wyoming, room was a good size and there was a decent free breakfast the next day. Convenient for the highway and where we wanted to be.

Not as good as some of the other Hilton group hotels we had stayed in this trip.

It was ok

I wish I had known it was under renovation when I booked. To find out after when I could not cancel was disappointing. We had to drive to the hotel behind us to use the pool (too far to walk with small children) and there was no hot water for showers until late Friday evening because of the construction.

They’re in the process of updating/remodeling…. Noise was minimal and NOT an issue. From we could tell (where it had not been touched yet) it was long over due!! The staff here was MORE than helpful and accommodating!!! Thank you so much!

Stay was great. What we didn't like was being given the wrong room number on check in TWICE. Finally, the key worked in the third room. From then on everything was fine. Breakfast was amazing!

Cleanliness

Noisy: Employees walkie talkies were so loud, they could be heard through the doors from the hallway in early morning hours.

The friendlyness of the staff was refreshing. Everyone had a smile on their face and was ready to help. The breakfast was also great and tasty.

The value of the stay was a little disappointing due to construction going on, which I didn't know ahead of time. This meant the pool was closed, which was a bummer.

Our room was quite possibly the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in-and I’ve stayed in many hotels. Everything was in very good condition, everything worked, I was very happy with my experience. The breakfast was outstanding, and the breakfast and dining area was clean, roomy, and nice.

The room was smaller than I expected. A fair bit smaller-but certainly not cramped, and as far as suites go, it was very nice. The photograph of the room made the tub look to be oversized-and when you exceed six feet by a fair measure, an oversized tub is very nice. I was disappointed to find it was standard size; however, my disappointment was greatly offset by how wonderfully clean everything was. Would totally stay again.

The location was close to everything we wanted to do. Having Stake and Shake just feet away from the hotel was a plus.

Grab bar in shower. Good showerhead. Nice hot shower. Plenty of towels...2 towels per person for shower. Good pillows. Breakfast eggs, redskins potatoes and maple sausage were tasty. Checkin people were nice. .

Bed a little saggy. No pen. Insufficient amount of facial tissues. Sink was cracked. Not much bread for breakfast. Not much fruit.
