This place was busling busy with conventions and weddings all through the 5 days we spent, but it didn’t effect the individualized personal attention we received. Accommodation for hundreds of people is challenging in itself but while catering to the larger events and parties while still exhibiting excellent personalized customer service to the remaining guests was an arduous task that they accomplished here at the Crown Plaza of Albany. Mr. D’s Restaurant and bar was perfect, the food delicious even the 2 time we got breakfast to go! My son lives near by in Guilderland, whom we were visiting. When we consider our next visit we shall surely return to the Crown Plaza for a wonderful stay! I highly recommend…a little pricey but worth the pampering…thinly down side was swimming pool closure during a heat wave…but otherwise extraordinary visit…staff was very helpful and friendly! Rene Struthers the manager was personable, knowledgeable and Helpful!

Staff! Very helpful and super friendly! I liked the water station at the registration desk. I liked the shower height.

The bed was not as firm as I would like. The coffee maker needs bottled water. The sink water is strongly chlorinated. The coffee in the restaurant was terrible. Go with Green Mountain Coffee Dark Magic. More flavorful. And doesn't taste watery..The shower water pressure was weak. More expensive than other hotels. I will probably explore other locations to compare against. But I am willing to try another visit just because of the staff.

The room was clean, the staff was nice and the facility was beautiful. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious.

Overall the stay was good, and the bad things are just nitpicks. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but not unbearable by any means. The restaurant was a bit expensive, but perhaps for the area this is common. The bathroom lighting was very harsh, and it seemed like there was no bathroom fan running.

My daughter and I enjoyed our one night stay here. The check-in process was quick and easy. The staff was friendly. Our room was clean and well maintained. The room had everything we needed for the night. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good! We enjoyed hanging out by the Koi pond. We only stayed one night, but I would definitely come and stay here again.

Convenient to the airport, and leaving the city early morning. It was also nice having a restaurant in house with a late arrival at night.

Clerk changed our room since original room he said was quite a long walk to get to. He put us in a room at the front of the hotel next to the elevator. I dinged till 2 am with people coming up from the bar.

After traveling for 6 hours it was so nice to have a full service restaurant in house open ( open late into the evening) with a good selection from appetizers to entrees. We loved not haveing to leave the hotel in search of dinner. Also again having a hearty breakfast before getting on the road was a wonderful amenity. The staff at the front desk and the entire restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff is always wonderful when we stay here , They truly go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I have stayed here here at least 5 times in the past year and a half. They have always been great with customer service. Several times I have had issues and they went above and beyond to correct any issue. Evan and the staff have always done their best to make our family's staff wonderful.

Excellent location close to shopping and restaurants, friendly staff, good environment, clean, had an amazing time at the event held in the Plaza for wine tasting which was also super convenient to be able to walk right to my room after

Elevator could use an update

Very clean, great food and staff.

I didn’t like their menu promoting drinks but can’t serve liquor till after 12. I go many places in New York State and can drink liquor before 12 noon and not a issue. I thought that was bad service, don’t promote Sunday brunch with liquor but really it’s not.

The staff was so wonderful and helpful. I made a mistake when I booked the room, and it did not give me the type of beds that I requested but the staff immediately got a roll away to fix situation. I have stayed here several times and the customer service is always wonderful.
