This was great value for the money. Their regular rates are high for the area. The same day booking.com rate was about half. I ended up wanting to extend my stay by a day but could not get the same rate for the additional day from the front desk. I waited until my checkout morning and went into booking.com to get an additional day at the cheaper rate. The location was good for me as I was visiting with family in the neighbourhood. The room was nice and the front desk staff was friendly and personable. I would stay here again provided I can get the cheaper rate.

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

The only thing was nothing really around to see in the area plus trying to find someplace to eat.

Good location close to subway station. 30 minutes to central NYC. Great welcome and greeting from staff. Storage for luggage was appreciated. Vending machine available. The tobacco odour mentioned in other reviews, was now over-taken by too much air freshener. This gave us sneezing fits, during and after our stay. The hotel is situated in a interesting mixed ethnic area. Opposite is a gas station . 15 minute walk to take out food. Our room was larger than expected, clean and tidy, plenty of room for suitcases. Lower ground floor. No issues with outside environment or guest noise. We would stay here again if visiting New York in the future.

I love that it’s next to the trains and buses and gas station. I love that they have a smoking room option (my fav part) and easy to navigate. Decent and I’ve been here about 2x already. They can keep getting my money 🫶🏼

Not too many food options and could be better and some of the showers do need a lil remodeling but that’s about it

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room/bed was spacious. The location is convenient with nearby transportation and shops.

The lighting was an issue for me, only side lambs. The bathroom mirror was not something I'm used to and the water in the toilet tank was running all night. i think it wasn't working properly.

There was no breakfast. (1)The location was close to 2 different train lines. (2)There were not many eateries close by.(3)The staff was professional and very courteous. I will stay again-especially if there is breakfast.

(1)There was no meal as advertised on Booking.com. The staff said breakfast was stopped during Covid. Other hotels have returned to offering breakfast. (2) I asked for a discounted price because my stay would be for a few weeks, but the manager assured me that was not possible, although she offered a price reduction. Why does the weekend rate escalate? It is prohibitively expensive.(3) The hot water comes on in the shower, then quickly becomes cold, and one must wait close to 5minutes for warm then hot water. (4) A maintenance man came-spoke little English. Turned on the tap-the water was hot. He looked at me and said-good. I was unable to explain what I wrote to you.

My stay here went very well. The room was clean and up to my standards. The staff helped me to find my way around the neighborhood which was very helpful. Nice location to go exploring and come back and have a peaceful rest. Will come here again for sure.

The people were nice. The room was clean. It was a in a nice neighborhood. They had a parking lot for their guest.
