This charming historic home was a delightful place to stay! Karin, the owner was an accommodating hostess who made our visit even better. I had an early morning filming session and would miss the delicious breakfast offered, but she quickly volunteered to provide me a much appreciated sack meal that got me through the morning in style. The home is well appointed and the fireflies and gazebo make it magical! From the moment we arrived in a torrential downpour we were treated to great food (home baked goods in the dining hall at all hours plus those sumptuous breakfasts), advice on places to dine and things to see in Canandaigua. Fun knickknacks add character and kept our senses engaged. This place is a winner!

Delicious homemade breakfast made with local foods- menu changed daily, was very hearty and a great start to the day. Fun old Victorian home with extra amenities provided: communal refrigerator, games, DVDs, hot/cold water dispenser, beautiful grounds with hammocks and sitting areas (we unfortunately had rainy weather during our stay). Our host was often available on site to answer our questions or give us tips on local attractions.

Beautiful inn and room. Breakfast was a treat for both the eyes and thr tast buds. Staff was efficient, personable, and thorough. Location is 5 minutes from downtown and Lake Canandaigua in a very lovely neighborhood.

You do not control room temp

Breakfast was WOW! Karin adapted her culinary delights to accommodate my lactose intolerance. She was also a delightful host and very knowledgeable about Canandaigua. Our bed was super comfortable.

Not really a problem....but no tea/coffee facilities in the room.

We loved everything about the property and Karin Everything Karin did was warm and welcoming. We will be back! Karin made every breakfast delightful and delicious.

Beautiful older home, furnished with interesting items and well maintained. Everything is comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. The owner makes every effort to make guests comfortable.

A hand grip for the claw footed bath tub would be helpful.

Breakfasts were exceptional every morning! The house was really a gem too. Grounds were maintained well.

Room was a little cramped with no where really to put our suitcases. The clawfoot tub was beautiful however it also posed a safety risk as there were no assistance rails to help you get in or out of the tub.
