We were delighted to find a motel room in the area of totality for the recent solar eclipse. While we paid more than the normal rate, it was reasonable -- no price gouging. Room was clean, bathroom was spotless, everything worked, very comfortable. Had king bed, fridge, microwave, nice bathroom, thick towels. everything worked. We were able to open windows, and heating system worked well.

Would have liked option of getting coffee earlier in the morning, but it was not a big deal. Also, needed to go to office for coffee (none in room), which was OK for us because our room was right by the office.

Clean, well maintained older motel. Family run , lots of plants and obvious love put into motel atmosphere. Shady, quiet location. Sidewalk and location encourages walking after a long day in the car

Only complaint is no real half and half for coffee- coffee was good quality! Unusual for motel free coffee! A little pricey for budget hotel but worth it for one night break from motels off the interstate located in depressing areas with no sidewalks.

The construction/maintenance of the interior was kind of shabby but the cleanliness, the quietness, and the very, very comfortable beds made up for it. Plus the the faucet & taps in the bathroom were really cute

Just that interior maintenance thing. But like l intimated, no big deal.

The rooms were simple but clean with comfortable mattresses and more adequate bedding than many motels, the water pressure and temperature in the shower were solid. Each room included wifi, as well as a TV, clean refrigerator and microwave, the latter two of which were greatly appreciated as so many motels seem to lack those two basic appliances needed by travelers. I appreciated that the window could open all the way and I could get fresh air in and listen to the crickets outside at night. So many motels are a block from a noisy highway and offer a wasteland of a view out the window. But this motel is flanked by a line of trees and greenery on either side abundant with birds in the morning. Lastly, you can park right outside your room, making packing and unpacking really easy.

Check out is prompt at 11am, the management will be there to clean within minutes of the hour, not a negative just something to expect. Providing a set of utensils and dishes for use along with a drinking water filter for the room would really be the only things that could've improved my stay.

Everything worked. Fine, I had a little trouble setting the cooling temperature. They came immediately to help.. very nice people

Early check in and late check out. We really liked the fridge with a seperate freezer. Housekeeper was responsive to our housekeeping request. Office staff was helpful to our requests.

More hangers. Bathroom space was tight.

i've stayed here two times and both times i was very please with the value and cleanliness. the wifi works great. i travel for work so this is a huge plus. the staff is always very nice.

It was clean, comfortable, and woman in the main office was very nice! Clean towels every day. Easy travel to Rochester

No amenities - but price was great so you would expect that!

Very attentive and friendly staff. Fast check in. Rooms were very clean. Immediate access to internet with password on the back of receipt. Parking right outside of the room was so nice

The only downside was lack of channels on tv

The room with king bed was quite small. It did have everything needed, however...microwave, small fridge, a/c.

Ice machine was in office lobby which was locked. Had to ring bell to gain access.
