This hotel has a lovely lobby and nice spaces to eat & drink both indoors and outside. Our Double Queen room was quite spacious and nicely functional. The bathroom was particularly nice and I wish I had that shower in my own home! The only odd thing was that the curtains kept getting in the way of the AC but that was easily remedied. Its proximity to downtown is superb.

Maybe I am being a baby but the salt water pool was nice but chilly! Also there were no pool towels to be found there and when I asked at the front desk they said it would be taken care of ASAP. Well, I was in the pool area for over 30 minutes and no towels came. Not a big deal but annoying. The only other thing is that the wait staff for the Sunday brunch seemed understaffed. The two women working were very nice and doing their best but they could use some help!

It's right at the top of Market Street with all of the shops and restaurants. We happened to be there during GlassFest so it was filled with vendors and entertainment. The Staff was SUPER accommodating, even allowing me to steal a conference room for an emergency work meeting I had to attend while away! Also.... They allow pets which is awesome!

There are wires everywhere in the hallways (might be doing a renovation of some sort), so that was a bit concerning. The elevators are rather small and slow, so trying to get an elevator was difficult at times. We took the stairs most of the time, but that wasn't great with an aging dog. The hotel bar had great entertainment, but it's not just for hotel guests so it got really crowded and the service got slow, except to the regulars.

Great location near shops and restaurants. Good mattresses and spacious rooms. Quiet despite large crowd at the hotel. Nice that the rooms have fridges and safes. Quick drive to Corning Glass Museum and this hotel is walking distance to the Smithsonian art museum.

Families should know that this hotel is frequently used by large groups like wedding parties, golf conventions, etc. So it can be crowded. That made parking a little tough. Bathrooms are nice and well-kept, but small. Wish the mattresses were queen sized rather than full sized.

The property was very clean, and the room very comfortable. The restaurant was awesome, thank you for the mimosas with my breakfast. They went above and out-of-the-way so I could have a morning mimosa. Staff were amazing. One exception was the night staff, when I could not find a parking space approximately 8:30 PM on my return to the hotel. I asked the two night shift desk staff where should I park. They told me I could park out back in the city lot, but I’d have to move my car by 9 PM. I said what if there was no parking spaces left at the hotel after 9 p. m. , the gentleman behind the desk evaded eye contact and indicated I would have to come back to the hotels parking lot and wait for somebody to leave and take their spot. The response to the lack of parking spaces was, “the hotel is full”.

The parking. Surely you can provide enough parking spaces for the guest. The hotel should provide room number tags , to hang on the hotels guests rear view mirror for parking, with the paying guest room number on that vehicle. I was shocked that they cannot provide enough parking spaces for their guest.

My room was comfortable and clean but it was located over some type of motor that would kick on and off occasionally. It did not disturb my sleep but it was somewhat annoying when I was awake.

I was disappointed in the restaurant's food. The menu is excellent, including the wine list. The servers are excellent. I ate dinner twice and breakfast once. Breakfast was good. First night dinner was a wonderful pork chop. The accompanying garlic mashed potatoes were almost cold and the asparagus overcooked. The second night dinner was their fish special. I ordered broiled which was dry, French fries tasted like they were 3 days old and so did the Cole slaw.

Loved the 'downtown' location and easy access to main street shops, glass museum, galleries, restaurants, bars, etc., Very pretty setting and friendly staff. Had 2 breakfasts and one dinner at the hotel while there. Our breakfast servers, Tony and Damien, were courteous and helpful even offering tourism 'tips'. Last morning there, a bus tour was leaving, yet they managed to keep all diners on time and well taken care of. Our dinner server, Kayla, as well was very efficient and friendly. Beds were comfortable; appreciated tub/shower option; heating/cooling system in room was easy to operate and worked well. Easy connectivity to Wifi and working safe in room appreciated as well. Would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

While the breakfasts were good and a decent value, the dinner options were a bit less so for the quantity and price. The hotel seemed to have a few issues with restaurant/reservation desk communication, but that seemed to be ongoing and perhaps because we'd booked through Booking.com and not directly? There was a bit of a delay in checking in as well, due to same system/internet issue.

Great location and close to tons of restaurants & shops. First time in NY, visiting the glass museum and this was a close hotel. Nice staff, great bartender and our room was great! Nice & updated too.

Check in was at 4pm, got there a few minutes after 4. Was told our room wasn't ready yet & they'd call us when it was. So we waited in the lobby, played on our phones....and kept waiting. Had dinner reservations for 6:30 and at 5 we went to the bar to get a drink. No call, so we went to ask them & before I got to ask she said our room was ready. She apologized but I think she may have just forgotten about us as everyone else had already gotten checked in...

The room was large and comfortable. Liked having a refrigerator in the room. I thought most of the staff were pretty unhelpful and kind of arrogant.

Our room was the last one at the very end of the corridor. My husband has MS and it was a very long walk from our room to the elevator. The outside windows near the elevators on the third floor were full of cobwebs and debris.It looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. The lobby furniture and rugs were really showing their wear. For a place trying to be so elegant, it was obvious that the physical structure is in need of some updates.

AMAZING staff, gorgeous facilities, so kind, lovely clean, quiet room in a stunning facility. They are housed in the original offices of the Corning Company in an early brutalist structure, which they have managed to make warm and inviting. It’s right next to the Main Street of all of the restaurants, bars and shops. They were so kind and accommodating when I was pinned down by tornados in a different state I was driving from. LOVE this place - it will always be first on my list!

Place is spacious , clean and price was very good.

When we came back to our hotel, the pillow was placed in the middle of the bed and then they cover the bed with comforter leaving pillow in the middle . The comforter was done terribly as if they were making a joke by fixing it that way or maybe they were on the phone that they forgot that they did not finished fixing the bed. We really don't know what happened but still we had a great stay in the hotel . Restaurant staff were very nice .
