Stayed in the west wing side with the Lake view with my son. This was the perfect pic for our stay. It was centrally located and everything was walkable. Although it didn't offer a beach, million dollar beach was a short walk away. The accommodations were comfortable and you couldn't top the view. We would definiatley re-book this location for future trips.

The indoor pool didn't seem like it was circulating water well. Unfortunately, the hotel did not offer a gym and I am a fitness lover so I would have liked to have access to equiptment.

The location and the layout. The view was of the mountains however that spectacular view of the lake I was able to have at breakfast every morning. That was a nice way to start my day. The staff at breakfast, the cleaning lady and the girls at the check in desk where all so nice. I had hoped for a room in the main building, as I had one another time when I stayed there, however there was a wedding (funny enough the same last name but not related) in the rooms at the main hotel.

It took me awhile to get used to the room. I was a little nervous being alone for the first time in a long time. So I heard everything and had to get use to the door sounding like some was trying to get in but by Friday night I was ok with that. I know no one was trying to get in. It was the wind or the vibrations from other doors closing in my area.

The door to the room didn’t shut well. I locked it when I got in and it was so hard to unlock that we didn’t use the turn lock. My companion shut the door Sunday night and Monday morning when I went out to walk I realized it had been open all night. It looked shut but it was not. Also someone spilt makeup in the bathroom before we got there. There were remnants of it in the bathroom door.

Location was perfect, views were great., room was spacious.

We booked a deluxe room with lake view with 2 queen beds, it was 2 double beds. Pool was absolutely freezing, not ideal for kids at all, the only people in it were the adults that were drinking. Would like a better coffee selection, even if you have something at the outside bar that you have to pay for.

Location, Staff, Room Amenities I’ve been visiting Lake George for 50 years and finally stayed at the Fort William Henry Hotel and WoW, it did not disappoint!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the start, when Marissa had to modify my reservation, to Andrew, checking me in on 11/24 and upgrading my room 🤩, and Colleen in housekeeping, ALL took exceptional care of my needs and concerns during my stay!! 👏🙌 I will be back!! 💯 The location of this hotel cannot be beat! Spectacular Lakefront views! Walk to everything in the village! I stayed in the two-story, Carriage House building, overlooking the outdoor pool and lake. I was upgraded from a mountain view room to the second floor, lakeside, 2 queen beds room, with newly installed microwave and refrigerator. 😊 The bathroom seemed newly renovated, the shower was spacious and water was very hot. The TV was a good size, it swiveled to all areas of the room, and had many channels to choose from. Coffeemaker & hair dryer in room. I like this type of room location because you’re able to sit outside your room on the balcony and take in the views. I met some nice people sitting on the balcony from NH over the Thanksgiving weekend. Each room has two chairs outside their room door. There is plenty of free parking at this hotel. There are several types of room accommodations, in various buildings of the hotel. The restaurant was open but I didn’t partake, there is no room service. You can place a to-go order & walk over to get it & bring it back to your room. You can also make reservations for up to six people to sit outside at a fire pit, $15+ per person. They have attendants who take care of the fire and you can order drinks and food to eat at the fire pit as well, all while looking at majestic Lake George, the Queen of America’s Lakes! 👑

Nothing… It was marvelous! Andrew made my stay a wonderful experience! I was very happy and felt safe and secure with the personal attention I received, as I am a solo female disabled traveler. ☺️

Centrally located, excellent activities- chess, corn hole for older teens

Parking- we had to park over at the fort and our room was on the far end of the hotel annex - across the entire hotel campus. Parking should be numbered in front of hotel annex for rooms on that side. Numerous people were parked just for the fireworks and parking was not enforced

We had a minor flood in the room and maintenance came right away. The view is excellent. The pool was very clean and nice.

Housekeeping should be cleaning the drains in the shower, that's why we had a flood. The coffee in the room was awful. There were no plugs to plug stuff into, no fan in bath, needs some updating.

Loved the area, walkability, the many amenities and the staff treated us very well when they found out that it was our anniversary.

There were a few things in our room that were needing repair, like the toilet paper holder. The room was not sound proofed at all. Could hear people talking both outside of our room and in the next room.

Great location and beautiful views! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They were Restaurant food and bar were very good too.

We were put in the old section of the hotel despite it not being that busy. Rooms are not that great but they were clean. We would have preferred to have been in the more modern section.

We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant due to lack of vegan choices otherwise our stay was what we were looking for.

Thursday evening parking was a disservice to the paid hotel visitors. We went out for dinner and came back to having to park too far away for what we paid for the room. I feel the hotel should make sure the visitors have a closer parking than the people coming to see the fireworks.
