Beds were comfy and the house keeper came to door every morning to make sure if we needed services. And staff in office were so nice and friendly. Coffee and tea were so good. And it was walking distance to everything on the main stretch.

The parking was so hard to get a spot on some days people parked so we could not get 8n ate spot. And people from down further came and took are chairs that were out side so then we could not sit. But this was not the staffs fault it was the people staying there were rude. The staff was so nice .And I wish the place had an iron.

The location was perfect. The motel is very close to everything in the Village. All of the shops and restaurants are right outside. The room (2 queen beds) is an ok size especially since you won't be inside long. The bathroom was a good size. The pool was such a nice bonus. The parking being included in the price is nice especially for the area. The outlets near the bed to charge your phones and tablets were great.

Omg smoking is allowed everywhere on the property I guess. I wish there was a designated smoking area somewhere away from the building and pool area. There was a group of people and someone was smoking every time we were going up and down the stairs to our room. Another woman was smoking by the pool. People like myself and my daughter have allergies, not to mention it is a health concern. Pack light. There isn't a ton of space in the room for too much luggage.

Very friendly workers and helpful with where activities were around town. Room was very clean. Very close to everything - was a block from the start of all the stores, restaurants and entertainment. Prime spot!!!

Rooms could use a bit of updating such as decorations in the room. The bed only had 2 sheets (it was summertime) and a sash type decoration at the bottom of the bed. Usually there is at least a comforter, even if it is thin due to the temperature outside. But again, the room was very clean and you don't spend a lot of time in the room so the outdated decor was okay. Happy there was a pool but it was freezing! Overall good experience though.

We didn't like the fact that we stayed further out so wifi was not good at all and then changing TV companies wasn't very good spotty TV, Internet. They also need to work on updating or checking the room. There was fruit flies and the door locks need updating. The windows are unlocked, luckily we check windows. The security is an issue with no working locks. You can't enter the room without key, but who has those codes??!! Just update locks n bars for locks.

The location is perfect, walkable to everything! The entire staff was wonderful, friendly , courteous and professional. Our room was spotless! The beds were very comfortable. The refrigerator was nice to have in the room! Loved having coffee available every morning! Housekeeping was excellent. Very welcoming atmosphere and everyone was nice! We really enjoyed our stay and if we visit again we will definitely book here again, it was perfect!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, everything was great!

The Howard Johnson By Wyndham at Lake George has an impeccable location; simply step out of your room, get to the street, walk 50 or so feet, and you're in the center of Lake George! The room was clean and well placed, and overall quiet. In the morning, the hotel lobby served granola bars with juices and coffee, which I took part of before heading to one of the few excellent breakfast restaurants literally in walking-distance of this hotel. All this for the low price was more than I could've asked for.

I think The only things I disliked was the state of the main lobby, and the size of the rooms. They are a bit smaller than a regular full-sized hotel chain. That and checking in, the main lobby was dark and in a bit of disarray. All of this was easily ignored with the great price and location.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. Great location to the village. We walked everywhere and were able to catch the trolley very easily when we went to the outlets and Bolten Landing. We parked our car when we checked in and didn't move it until we checked out!! GREAT LOCATION!!!

Love the location. Women who kept are room clean (Vicky) was fantastic. Staff was nice and personable. Front desk folks were accommodating.

Had poor quality neighbors with little respect for others for the first couple of nights. I also think that alcohol should not be allowed at the pool site as families gather with children.

Location is excellent - less than a five minute walk to town and the lake. Staff is friendly and helpful. This is obviously an older facility that had a major gut job a few years ago to freshen its appearence. That being said it's a good place to say if you like clean basic accommodations and are looking for the convenience of being able to walk into town or to the ferry service.

Save for a vending machine and ice maker there are essentially no amenities.

Stayed fir one night. Very nice facilities for a motel. Pool was great considering the heat wave and very quiet for mid July. Ice machine was also welcome, the room was neat and modern.

The man the front desk was not very happy at arrival, better the next day though. Rest of the staff were nice and helpful. The TV was not working properly, Netflix not working and some channels bugging. One keycard stoped working and the door was stuck and hard to open. But other than that, very pleasant stay.
