I stayed at Courtyard by Marriott, Tarrytown, NY while taking the NY Bar Exam, and it was the perfect choice. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with fast WiFi and blackout curtains for great rest. The staff was incredibly kind and supportive, which made a stressful time much easier.

Parking is an issue. They only have off street parking. You have to pay 20 for 24 hrs but if you leave and comeback and the street is full you have to pay again to park at another site. Part of the reason why I left and went to a different site

A bit expensive for a chain hotel in Troy, NY. Troy has Rensselaer College and not much else we came to realize. Probably was a booming city back in the day with the factories in full operation. The moment we arrived and parked our vehicle on the property, we were briefly accosted by a man requesting $. Not an ideal welcome to the hotel.

Easy walk to restaurants, bars. Outside seating.Nice view of the river. Staff was amazing. Very polite and friendly. Staff made eye contact, greeted you with a smile. Easy trip into Albany.

Very clean hotel, newish, the rooms are semi-big, very updated/renovated (definitely not old-looking) and the television has a personalized greeting digitally written on the screen saver. It's definitely a nice looking hotel and i have stayed at least twice now. The beds were okay but not bad. The hotel is a small driving distance from restaurants in the area.

The area is desolate, not sure if it would be wise to "walk" around as I noticed some druggies less than a mile away at an abandoned building. I think the area is still in the process of being gentrified. But I would definitely exercise max precaution if walking around especially in the night. Also, no breakfast included unless you buy. And it's not a huge breakfast; basically croissants, bagel or muffin which are available to be purchased.

Great stay. Clean comfortable room. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Particularly of note is the restaurant staff, both at breakfast and as bartenders at night. Super nice and service oriented. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really noted. Only suggestion would be a little later closing for breakfast and at night.

The room was beautiful. The shower was spacious (room for two easily). The automatic curtains to the river view was perfect (would have been even better in the summer). Bed was firm in the right way and the pillows were substantial. It's definitely worth booking. I wish I could have stayed an extra day.

The cleanliness, comfort of the room, the greeting on thr television lol and welcoming staff. It's a nice, newly, clean hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

The area is a bit hoodish actually. I definitely seen sketchy folks around. The "waterfront view" is blah. Not worth the extra dime. But they do have main balcony seating which is cool at least.

We had the best hotel accommodations and hospitality, all the the employees we met, Stephanie(MGR), Nia(bar girl 😘) best! Susan , Skylar- front desk and Mercedes can’t say enough . I hope you are all recognized you all deserve every bit of it. All of you make it a better place to stay. Thank you all 😘

The immediate neighborhood around the facility was sketchy. I would be comfortable arriving at night by myself.
