Hilton has better breakfasts than Marriot or Hyatt. Real plates, real silverware, real tables with tablecloths, hot food made by chefs, not microwaved. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, yogurt, fruit, pastries, oatmeal and toppings. The bed was extremely comfy, and I'm going to have to check their website for the pillow I had--perfect. Special thanks to Jeanne at this location. She was helpful, warm, and professional. I saw her helping a grandmother getting breakfast with her very young grandchild. Jeanne is an absolute treasure of hospitality.

It was our first stay at this Hilton, and we were pleased to find more than one option for a hotel stay in the Troy/Watervliet area. We're just returning to visiting family in that area since pandemic and we always had to stay out near the Albany airport. Troy is much more convenient, and we know Hiltons are reliably clean, etc.

I think after being given the option to choose my room, I realized upon checking in that I didn't really know about the set up at that hotel. We chose on the front of the building, however, it's a very busy road and although it was a lovely summer night, we had to close up the window. I should have chosen the back of the building. We thought the second floor lobby was odd, but that's minor. We also skipped the breakfast option as we thought the prices were a bit high for the area, and local breakfasts are pretty easy to find.

1) the waitress at the recovery room was very nice and accommodating to my hearing disability by seating us in a quieter corner of the restaurant. ) Easy hotel check in and parking and coffee for guests in the morning.

recovery room food prices about 15% too high for the portion size and quality of food. I would have gotten a bigger chicken sandwich at Wendy's for a third of the price. Draft beer was ok but good have been better. Still overall a pleasant experience and wonderful service.

It was clean and easily laid out. Kaylin the attendant at the main desk was wonderful to work with when I checked in. She relocated my room when the road noise prove to be way too disruptive.

The hotel is right on the highway. If your room is on the roadside, you’re going to hear road noise and pothole noise all night long. There was a secured door between the lobby and my room. That was hard to manage while handling suitcases, etc. There was no freezer space in the mini fridge provided in the room. I had items that needed to remain frozen. The hotel was unable to accommodate that neat. Other hotels along my travels have allowed me to keep my freezer items in the main kitchen freezer. The Hilton Garden would not allow that. For the price point, I would have expected other amenities provided. Water in the room was $2 per bottle. For a higher price per night, to up-charge a 10 cent bottle of water that much seems business profit greedy.

Property was great,front desk was really helpful..ran into a problem with booking.com,and dean at the front desk stepped up after almost a hour trying to get booking.com agent to push my reservation through again so Hilton could pull it up in their system,dean took the phone and told the guy to cancel the reservation and wave the fee,and book straight from the hotel,not only did I book through them he gave me a upgrade for the same price of my first reservation..thanks dean your customer service was impeccable..I will be back

The breakfast was excellent tasty and love that there was a variety. Rahayu (think I spelt her name incorrectly) she was very friendly and attentive in the dining hall. Stacey the front receptionist was also very friendly and helpful with the area and getting around.

The carpets on the stairs and dining area needed to be vacuumed as there was chips hair pens under the table in the waiting area by the couches and bits of trash on the steps. The headboard in my room also needed attention as there was visible dust.

We were in town for a graduation and the hotel was very close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 4 nights and the only time our room was cleaned was when I went to the front desk and asked them to do it. There were no signs or anything indicating that they don't clean rooms anymore so I don't know what happened, but we had to call every day to ask for clean towels

I was pleased with the overall appearance of the hotel. The availability of breakfast even at a cost was a nice option. My floor was very quiet even on the weekend. Staff was very approachable and helpful.

In the future, please consider a complimentary breakfast.

The breakfast is good, the location of the hotel is vital, close to everything, banks, restaurants, and the bus station as well 😁

What I did not like is the price at the end of the week and cleaning courses every three days. The bathrooms need cleaning every day or two days at least. The water tasted and smelled strange in the hand-washing basin

I was not aware that Breakfast was included in my stay. Had I known this, I would have loved to experience this. Better communication on what is included would be great to know for future stays. I am sad I did not experience Breakfast.
