Beautiful hotel and so dog friendly! The basketball court is hilarious and our dog loved playing with a plush ball. The 5th floor patios (if you pick such a room) are lovely and private as well. And the whole place is beautifully decorated and right in the middle of things, you can walk everywhere. Parking is inside so you won't get wet unloading if it's raining.

1bd was a bit small and only instant coffee in the rooms. No free coffee in the lobby, which for the price would be nice. Parking is pretty pricey for where you are, though secure and in a garage.

Difficulty with the reservations. I reserved and thought I paid for 2 rooms with balconies for 2 nights. One of those was with 2 beds. The balconies were an additional charge from the original booking.com reservation. Confusion when I checked in. Confusion when my brother checked in. Confusion when I checked out. I’m still not sure if I paid for my brother’s room ( which I wanted to do), or not. The staff was very nice, but I’m still trying to figure out my bill. And when I called about availability of breakfast, the reservations said yes. Actually a more accurate answer would be cold items and coffee. But plenty of diners, restaurants, and McDonald’s nearby for hot food

What I like the best is their small but very functional fitness room: equipments that are useful and accessible 24 hours a day. Staffs are nice too. And for the first time after covid pandemic (in traveling to US), house keeping every day! Location is great as well. I did worried the potential noise from the mini basketball court on the third floor, but I could hear barely anything when kids were playing there.

The location was outstanding! Very comfortable bed and room. We had a balcony and at the end of September, it was already a little cool to sit outside. There's an electric teapot in the room which was wonderful as we took our Aeropress, fresh ground coffee, heavy cream, granola, almond milk and fresh fruit with us! Since no breakfast is included, remember to bring your own!

There is no breakfast included which is the only criticism I have for The Graduate Hotel. It would be so much better if a hot breakfast was offered. We understand why parking is charged as there's nowhere to park in downtown Chapel Hill. The location of the hotel warrants a fee for parking as guests are able to choose so many wonderful restaurants!

Love the location as we can walk to our favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill, Talullah's for great food! Hotel is very quiet and rooms and beds are comfortable.

No breakfast is included and you have to go outside the hotel to find a place to eat for that meal. The hotel has service for items like burgers at night but we've never tried it. The pillows are very chunky and large so we always take our own.

Loved the grass cloth wallpaper and thoughtful boutique decor. Loved the obvious… convenience.

Parking was confusing initially. Looks like you have to have a room card to pull into the parking deck. We circled three times then parked at a nearby restaurant to call the front desk. That should be on the reservation info.

Front desk staff at check-in was incredible. The local/UNC themes were everywhere. We loved the basketball court carpet and plush balls.

Front desk staff were not as friendly as expected, except the wonderful man at check-in. The breakfast options in the restaurant are extremely limited.

unique and original decor and theme, this property is centrally located for Chapel Hill. the desk staff were very friendly and informative. bathroom amenities were lovely.

the HVAC system was obnoxiously loud! no hope of sleep if it was in Auto mode, so we had to leave it on. The noise was like being in an airplane! and it blew so hard it made my head cold. No option to lower the fan speed. also, the worst tasting in-room coffee ever!

nice, good location. all we got was coffee. Shower head great. Beds comfortable.

The shower door leaked at the bottom and flooded the bathroom. No glasses in room. No ice machine available. very loud air conditioner.

I usually expect to have toiletries such as shower cap, cotton pad, q-tips, available for women, as well as robes and slippers. Those items are common expectations for my travels
