I loved the area it was in! It is in walking distance of many nice restaurants and places. It is right by route 70, so going to the beach and other places is so easy. Also, the breakfast was exceptional. I was worried about staying at a place that wasn’t a “big named hotel” but you would have never known the difference, such a nice hotel for such a nice price.

I had requested a room on the upper floor, which I know isn’t always attainable, however, I was given the first room on the first floor right by their desk area. I don’t get how I couldn’t have been placed even a little further down after my request.

Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but good. Pool area was clean.

I didn't like the fact that at 3 pm check in time the first night's stay was authorized on my cc and then when I checked in, the entire amount for my stay was authorized plus another $50 for incidentals. I understand the $50, but I think authorizing one night plus the whole cost of my stay is excessive. I have stayed in many different chain hotels and have never had what amounted to an extra $285 authorized on my card. As much as I liked the hotel and its location, this may very well be a reason why I don't stay here again. Adding some additional fruit options to the breakfast would be nice.

Room was nice and roomy but had a smokey smell had

The room smelled smokey an we had to use our small space fragrance container we had an extra in the car along with air fresher it was late wen we checked in and l used the wrong credit card to check in and theavailable food was $5 per frozen meal $3 for candy and Soda each that was robbery in front of you horrible situation could not believe the prices

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was just that. Nothing fancy but enough to get your day started. The location was great - near lots of shopping and places to eat. Travel to the historic area of New Bern was very easy from the hotel.

While I was not expecting a great big breakfast buffet, some fresh fruit, like apples or bananas, would have been nice. The location was a little tough to access - in that I ended up having to make a u-turn most days/nights when coming back to the hotel. I know the hotel has no control over the roads, it's just something to note, especially if you are a timid driver.

For the money it was very clean,comfortable,up to date and in a very convenient location and served our purpose well!!! We will definitely stay here again!!!

I felt is was a bit ridiculous for them to block the cost of the room plus incidentals fee on my card and then still charge an incidentals fee again!! Also it was quite clear the people next door to is was smoking pot in their room as we could smell it in our room!

At first I thought it was full breakfast but continental breakfast was good. Coffee, bagels toast and oj, very good. I loved the fact they placed me on the first floor, great! Handicap parking

No eggs for breakfast, waffle maker ok, Also, left to visit family, took "DO NOT DISTURB" off door. When I returned the room was NOT cleaned. Asked front desk They told me to ask the staff in laundry area. Spanish speaking staff they did not realize I understood some Spanish. They spoke to each other (Spanish) and stated I had the do not disturb sign on when she came around in the "morning" she refused to come back. Did give fresh towels but did not dump trash or make bed. Next day was better.

I've stayed here many times within the last year. It's so clean and comfortable here. The staff is full of really kind people.....with a home town feel. They remember you. I truly like staying here. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. (The pool is always perfect too!)

Short of expectations. Waffles, hard boiled eggs, were good for 2-3 days. Hoping for scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, nothing fancy. Maybe old fashioned oatmeal (in a crockpot).same as above

The Receptionist was superb and helpful. Very Thankful for her as she made everything very easy. Bedroom was a perfect perfect size, bed was big, the look of everything was lovely. Would happily stay here again and probably will be each time I come to see my partner. So will do longer than a 1 night stay next time

The amount of contractors / workers that stay there and were allowed to set around outside with their cooler of beer near the entrance door. Very uncomfortable.
