Convenient location - nearby to the football hall of fame. Apparently it was where a lot of the players were staying for the HOF ceremonies that weekend but we missed them by a day. The staff was spending lot of time getting it ready for their arrival. Breakfast was much better than a normal but it wasn't included. Got free parking on the street but it isn't ample so you may have to pay (located across street).

Would have been nice to know better what the parking situation was prior to our arrival. I don't love the Hilton design of having sliding doors on the bathrooms which seems to be common now in a lot of their hotels - doesn't block much sound and are a bit annoying.

The location was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. We added the breakfast when we made our reservation, and it proved to be a great choice. The bed was super comfortable - loved the pillows! We were able to walk to see the Cultural Center and the First Ladies' Museum, and it was a short drive to the Pro-football Hall of Fame and the McKinley Monument and Museum. Plus, the cookies were awesome!

We somehow ended up in a handicapped accessible room. In the bathroom the shower curtain didn't reach the floor, and the water pressure in the sink was high, so our bathroom floor was often wet. The floor did have a drain, so it easily dried out between uses, but was still less than ideal.

The staff was very friendly and the lobby and pool area were very nice. The breakfast options is either room service or buffet. We did the buffet breakfast which was very good.

We were extremely disappointed with the room. I specifically asked for a room that was not for handicapped and we got one. The bathroom set up was not good. There was no place to hang towels or any shelf space to put your bathroom items. We were 2 adults and 2 kids and there was no space for anything. Also, they never made our room. We left the hotel around 10 am and got back around 4 pm and no one ever came to make the room.

Everything was great from checking in to checking out and the staff was very helpful and ready to assist. The pool is exceptional my daughter and my wife loved it

The flow of the water in the bathroom was like it was on its last leg, the pressure in the shower was not all that great, and the breakfast was overpriced, the same thing that you get from Quality Inn you can get for free.

The swimming pool and pool area was huge, beautiful and inviting and a great temp°. The 330 restaurant in the hotel was delicious!! The breakfast buffet had REAL eggs!! The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel cookies were phenomenal!! The access to the parking garage was great. Our room was comfy, clean, spacious. The TV in our room had great channel options, I had never had a room where we could log into our streaming channels! That was the best! The hotel was conveniently located to the place of interest we wanted to go to. And the price was absolutely fantastic for all that we got.

I loved the location. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant in the hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal because you have quick access to the highway and it's close to many restaurants within the area. The staff sent text messages asking about our stay and if I needed anything.

The only thing I didn't like was you have to request room cleaning everyday instead of giving the option to either have your room cleaned or get fresh towels during booking.

Based on this experience, DoubleTree will be at the top of my list for future stays regardless of location. DoubleTree hits the bullseye in terms of excellent value and overall experience. Staff extremely friendly, even though I was checking in at 10AM. My room was available and I was given complimentary bottled water at the front desk. Their complimentary cookies weren't ready yet (I was so early) but I was able to get them later in the afternoon. The room was quite nice, comfortable and quiet. Finally, a hotel has designed a barn-door style shower door system that looks beautiful and DOESN'T LEAK! The restaurant burger & fries were very good and very fresh (I do think that everything was made to order as I was the only person having lunch at that time) - still it was very good. Reserved parking next to the hotel was available free of charge; I chose to park across the street in the parking deck, which has an arrangement with the hotel, for only $8 (with in and out privileges). Location was outstanding for the sites downtown that I wanted to see.

This is nit picking but the only thing that I can think of. The hotel has music playing throughout the common areas, including the restaurant & bar, which is fine. However, they also have a piano in the lobby area. One guest wanted to play the piano, which they allowed him to do. And that was fine; he played quite well. However, the staff have no means of turning off or lowering the volume of the common-area music that's piped in (at least according to the bartender). As such, I had to endure hearing both the music and the piano playing at the same time, which was a bit annoying.

I’m used to grab-and-go’s with the occasional poor menu but the help yourself option at breakfast was AMAZING. From well seasoned sausage biscuits and gravy, to homemade fruit cups, it was absolutely worth my while. Thanks to booking.com the breakfast was free but honestly I think I wouldn’t have minded paying for the food as I felt it was of high quality. Now In terms of the rooms, I purchased the king size room package and the bed was very comfortable. I found the large TV to be very easy to navigate as well. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and the entrance door was very secure. It is worth mentioning that while I was right next door to my close friends I didn’t hear them at all, the sound proofing was impressive given the price of the rooms. Overall very satisfied with the quality given the price!

I really did enjoy my stay but I wished the pool had more to offer. Aside from being decent temperature and size, there was an odd smell that, after investigating, turned out to be mold. There is a fake plant set up next to the pool that seemed to be a hot tub in its previous life. The fake grass was partially peel back which revealed moldy rotted boards holding the plant display up. The smell was enough to turn us away but the pool wasn’t our main reason for attending. So overall it truthfully wasn’t AWFUL.

We enjoyed the pool, connection to the parking ramp and the restaurant onsite. The food was excellent at the hotel. Wish a breakfast came with an overnight stay, but McDonald's was close by. Overall, great room, hotel, and staff.

More towels. My family doesn't waste towels, we reuse them and re-hang, but we still needed more. I heard other guests were not considerate and threw towels all over the place. As guest behavior is not the fault of the hotel, maybe some reminders to the guests about reusing towels and not taking 10 towels from the pool would be helpful. Remind other guests they are not the only ones staying at the hotel and be respectful of others.
