We had a corgi with us. In Port Clinton, not many hotels/ motels take pets, and if they do, they are dives. This is such a homey place. A motel, so just walk out the door. Lots of grass and trees. People that stay there clean up dog do do. I can't tell you enough how nice the staff and cleaning crew are! This isn't a fancy place. It is homey! They have 2 chairs and a table outside the door, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or drinks. They have a big room with an ice maker. Tables that you can play cards or games. Laundry facilities. Outside, there is a horseshoe pit and corn hole. An open gazebo with slider chairs for 2. Bbqs, firepit, The room has a full-size coffee maker, so you can fill a thermos for your outings! It is really soundproof. We didn't hear next-door people, the busy train track or road noise. They have a fish cleaning area and a freezer to put your catch until you leave. A nice area in the back where you can fish off the bank or dock. This was our first time there, and we will definitely go back!

Very reasonably priced for the area. Cleanliness of the room. Great TV. Office staff was very personable and friendly when checking in. She also explained where the room was and where the parking was. The courtyard was a pleasant surprise. The outside look is deceiving-much nicer than you would think. I'm glad I read the previous reviews and decided to stay here. Amenities such as hair dryer and coffee maker in the room as well as microwave and fridge! Beds were comfortable.

The bathroom mirror was too high for a short person, but there was another one just outside the bathroom. I wasn't a fan of the freestanding air conditioner, but it did the job.

Location was convenient for everything we wanted to do, and it’s the cleanest place we’ve stayed in a long time! It’s no secret that it’s an older motel, but updates have been made, staff were friendly, room was comfortable, and we have no complaints! Room was cleaned during our stay, which we didn’t expect, so we had left it messy & felt badly for housekeeping who came & straightened up!

No complaints for what’s there, just be warned that there was only a shower & bathroom was small. Again - this isn’t something that needs to be changed, just don’t expect a big bathroom & tub if you’re traveling with little ones!

I loved the comfort and coziness of the mobile home. It was very clean inside.,I loved having the washer and dryer. I was able to use the dishes to cook several lovely meals. The air conditioning was superb. I felt at home and didn’t want to leave.,

There were a few windows with no curtains that made it difficult to have privacy.,I had to use towels and magnets to keep neighbors from looking in,,a few lamps had blown lightbulbs so the light was sparse. The kitchen drawers were broken. So hard to get to utensils. I had to pull one whole drawer out and the glide fell on the floor.

they have a full size coffee maker 8 cups and they had a microwave and they had a very ample large small fridge and I brought pre cooked food from home and warmed it up in morning because I just wanted to eat in the morning and get on the road, but you're close to a lot of restaurants so it was convenient for my purposes! And Im less than 30 minutes to my state and no the restaurants could have stopped in for lunch I took my time getting home was a perfect getaway, to view the solar eclipse April 8th 2024

NOTHING.... it was exactly as presented and all the previous reviews from especially people from Europe I knew they understood this kind of a 1950s small motel, but it was so positively decorated and it felt homey immediately and very very clean! there are no complaints from me nor from where I could see on the reviews! I had read the reviews and people found it exactly as I would describe it A really lovely, clean and quiet place where you feel safe to be as a Solo traveler because the owner is super involved with any problem you might have and I really enjoyed her conversation!

This hotel was in such a off the beaten path area, and made me feel reminiscent of staying with my grandparents for fishing trips. I stayed in the motel, which was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Staff was very lovely and explained some aspects of my the property and booking.com I was confused on, very clearly and easy to understand for someone not well traveled. You can tell the care put into this local business, and it translates to the stay. I stayed one night, and think it’d be a lovely place for any repeat visits! Perfect if you are not used to/do not like city center hotels and enjoy a quiet and calm atmosphere. The other guests were also very nice! Something I’m not used to in the slightest, and was such a wonderful change.

Doesn't look like much on the outside but the room was newly remodeled and a breath of fresh air walking in! There is a place to park your boat and launch is also close. Fishing and the local hole in the wall establishment is right next door when the downtown PC fun closes for the evening at 11pm. Very impressed.

Booking is more expensive than just calling and making reservations with White Caps. Next time we will know!

Affordable and very nice, cute, and clean. Happy with the amenities and the bed was super comfy.

It got a little cold at night and the blankets were thin. There were so many bugs around the property because it was close to the water... I also would have liked clearer instructions for checkout; wasn't sure if I needed to do anything else besides drop off the key.

We were a little hesitant about staying here as it is not a popular hotel chain and when we asked an employee at a nearby business what they new about the White Caps Motel and they said they didn't hear a lot of great things we were even more apprehensive about staying here. However, we were pleasantly surprised upon walking into the White Caps hotel room. The room was very clean, it looked like it was recently updated, there was a nice size refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker and two very comfortable beds. The air conditioner kept our room nice and cool. We would definitely stay here again!

The bathroom was a little small, but it didn't really matter as we didn't spend a lot of time in there. The water pressure and temperature of water in the shower were great.

The inside of the motel was very clean! The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was cold. It had nice hot water too. The staff was very friendly 😊 nice table outside your door and you can park right in front.

Outside of property had dead bugs all over. There was a big hatch and they needed to be swept up.
