The staff was very warm and welcoming even if arriving very late at night. The facilities were well kept and comfortable. The bathroom and bed were spotless clean. The breakfast was simple but plentiful and fresh. Also the location by the water makes it for a perfect coffee enjoying the view of Lake Erie.

Overall a great stay. But the towels were piled below the sink and gave me the feeling they had been there for a while.

We did not like the bed. We were put in a handicap room which we needed but husband was not in wheelchair the bed was to low for him hard to get out of bed. We were both actually leaning outward on the mattress I really think the mattress needs replaced. The room was clean but I did have to go get new towels and trash bags . Thought maybe they would have checked on those items while we were out.

We liked the location the most. Loved that the back area was so close to the water and very peaceful.

My husband did not like the breakfast, not much to choose from. We were both very disappointed that there was not a balcony.

Easy to get too. Front desk staff upon arrival she was multitasking. Her first priority was taking care of the guest. Very kind. Departure was easy and the staff again 10+ rating. Being able to sit outside and enjoyed looking at the water, very calm.

Using the juice machine to fill my water bottle was difficult. Water filling stations would be a great addition. Perhaps on each floor. The bathroom sink was draining slowly. I let the front desk know at check out.

Nice to have Lake Erie to look at out our window!

The entrance area off the road isn’t acceptable, a dirt entrance?! The continental breakfast wasn’t of good quality food, it could easily be upgraded.

The event that we were attending was in Sandusky and I really enjoyed the location of this property. It was quiet and not congested compared to the Sandusky area which is more upbeat. It was a nice change in setting for the evening and the lake view was very relaxing and peaceful. We were up early for breakfast and there was a nice selection to choose from for both of us. The lady who was in charge of the dining area and the breakfast buffet was on top of keeping it restocked and clean. She was even pretty vocal with the guests by welcoming everyone and checking to see if there was anything she could get them. She hustled to remove plates and utensils from tables and made sure the tables were cleaned for the next guest. The women who worked the front desk were awesome as well. The one who checked us in was quick and made everything so effortless for us. The lady who was in charge of check out was also quick. Both were very welcoming and sweet! This was the second time staying at this property while in that area. I will always choose Fairfield in Port Clinton.

During checking in and our stay was awesome the staff was amazing and very helpful and kind I was confirmed a late check out and I got a phone call 20 minutes before we had to leave a little after normal checkout we were told we had to leave or we had to pay extra to stay we hurried up and ran out and this was because of the morning staff I told her we had a late check out she said we would have to pay more money

The checkout was very rude . I called and spoke to a manager and she gave me a discounted price for the inconvenience and the rudeness of one person

The location has so much potential. Rooms, staff and facilities were nice, fairly good location.

The lakeside bulkhead was a big disappointment. Why build a nice facility 'on the lake' just to discourage its use.

Location. We were close to everything. Room and bathroom were good size.

Elevator was out during the evening and into the night. Had to come down and walk up our room x 2. Indoor pool water was cold.
