Perfect location in the historic district of downtown McMinnville. Convenient front door arrival and luggage drop off assisted by friendly valet who whisked our bags away to our room while we checked in. Valet parking was offered for $15/night but our valet readily pointed out several nearby parking spots along the street where we would could park for free until checkout time the next morning. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff with a very nice glass of bubbly and given a quick intro to the room set up and a list of local restaurants (the Cypress Grill was closed that day.) We walked a couple of blocks over to the Bistro Maison for a fabulous meal outdoors on their patio. Our room #14 was beautifully decorated, cozy yet with incredibly tall ceilings making it feel very spacious. There was an electric-controlled fireplace set on visual “ambiance” setting, very comfy bed, spotless bathroom with large walk-in shower, flat screen tv, wine fridge set on 38°, and in-room French press coffee and a tea kettle— however the main lobby has all types of custom-made espresso drinks available on request 24/7! Our ground floor room was separated by a doorway leading down to the “luxury” bunk rooms and was completely quiet. The cafe only offered a continental breakfast the next morning so we walked a couple of blocks over to the Crescent Cafe for a traditional breakfast which was wonderful.

I am not sure why so many hotels now do not have exhaust fans in the bathroom, but we seem to encounter this more and more.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed. I really appreciated that there were no air fresheners or plug-ins in the room--it was just very clean, no need to cover anything up! Lovely coffee/tea options in room. Welcome glass of sparkling wine was a nice surprise. Also espresso maker 24/7, and it was THE BEST coffee we have ever had. Staff were all very friendly. Great location in town, and location was quiet for sleeping. Decor was very appealing.

We were in room 25. Not sure what went on below us until around 9pm each night but there were quite horrible-sounding noises like someone moving furniture for hours each night. Also, the shower was not fully enclosed and tended to get the bathroom a bit wet--adding a door would be a game-changer there.

The Atticus was superb from start to finish. The staff was gracious and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary glass of Oregon sparkling wine offered during check-in. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully appointed, from chilled water in the fridge to local coffee for the press pot. The location was perfect for several strolls along the main street and the surrounding neighborhood, and I also really enjoyed the Thursday farmer's market. We hope to return!

There were some throw blankets, but I would have appreciated one full bed-sized blanket in the closet. (I sleep very cold and prefer a blanket to heating the entire room.)

Starting with the initial greeting by the welcome desk staff, this property was amazing. Beautiful, thoughtful details everywhere you look, from the curated local art to the various amenities. The room itself was stunning - high ceiling, distinctive lighting, unique decorative pieces. And again with the amenities - coffee/tea bar featuring a French press and a wine refrigerator. And the Pendleton robe in the bathroom! Every detail appears to have been given so much attention, resulting in a fabulous experience.

Nothing!

Gorgeous property in a lovely location. Rooms were so clean and spacious. Loved the fresh hazelnuts and walnuts, along with French press in the room. We were debating between this and another place and we are SO thrilled with our decision. Staff super friendly. The lattes in the lobby are just the cherry on top. Absolutely would come back here again.

Nothing!

Construction started at 7:00 am. There was piledriving and loads of heavy material being dropped. It was impossible to sleep after it started. Right next to our corner room. We were exhausted and needed a night of good sleep. Loved the staff, room and restaurant otherwise.

Extremely loud construction by our corner room starting at 7:00 am

Where to begin. The location excellent right off 3rd. The staff attentive and professional yet friendly. A great room off the reception invites guests to play cards or other games in the cabinets. The bed, shower, space great. Parking is valet but worth the fair price. There are some perks like free wine tastings at Troon vineyards.

Everything was awesome.

The ladies at the front desk were amazing! They gave us so many great tips on what to do in town. Every single person we encountered was friendsly and helpful! Loved our visit!!

It was the highest priced hotel that we stayed at on our visit to Oregon, so we did have to splurge on this one.

Location excellent. Check-in staff excellent. Bathroom was good size with a window that opened for fresh air so that was a plus. Food at breakfast restaurant was good.

Carpet needs cleaning (my wife’s slippers were black on the bottom after only one night). Too much clutter in the room; books, etc., should be on shelves rather than on the already-limited flat surfaces. Bad lighting at “closet”. A second luggage rack would have been nice for a double-occupancy room.

I love this hotel! We travel frequently, and always with my service dog, and this hotel is amazing! They are welcoming with a glass of champagne, and a doggie bed and treats for the dog traveling with us. They helped us find breakfast, even calling in advance to make sure that it was available. Located right in downtown (without the usual loud that's associated with staying downtown.) we could walk to dinner, great shopping and wine tasting without having to drive back. I can't recommend more!
