A very good value. Huge rooms, comfortable bed. The restaurant isn’t bad, and the bartender took food orders and bused tables, a very hard worker. Would stay again

Alss, the Shilo’s glory days are behind her. The hotel is very worn around the edges. Carpeting needs replacing, the wifi is weak, & decor is right out of the 80’s, but if you’re ok with that, a good place to stay before a flight.

All the rooms are suites, as far as I know, so we had a ton of room for just the two of us. This hotel used to be a Shilo Inn, and it has a fancy look for a budget stay. It felt like luxury compared to our last budget motel stay. Having three sinks in one room was surprising, and I liked the amount of counter space in the kitchenette. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, too. As budget travelers, we would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has the appearance of a much nicer hotel that's been in a slow decline for a while now. It's dated, the carpet is worn and stained, the furniture is heavily used, and the landscaping is half-dead. The freezer in our spacious mini fridge didn't work, the mattress was long due for replacement, and amenities were pretty light. There were also little bits of trash in the hallway. However, if all these issues were resolved, the affordable price might go up.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, close to major attractions and public transportation. The room was clean, spacious, and well-decorated, with a very comfortable bed and fresh linens. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with quality toiletries. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, making me feel truly welcome. Breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The hotel’s atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and all facilities were well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant, comfortable, and memorable experience.

The room was huge - So spacious and the housekeeping efforts are very noticeable and much appreciated! Every staff member I met was courteous, super friendly, task oriented and do go above and beyond. Coming from a hospitality background myself, I highly commend the team and this made my heart sing.

There’s not much to dislike about the property itself. One must understand that this is an old building and was once the Shilo Inn, so it does not look polished or anything from the outside. The inside is old school - yet the level of cleanliness outshines all that. As there was a kitchenette area, it would have been nice to have a kitchen linen so not to use the hand/face towels.

The kitchenette was nice. The room had three sinks, and a separate living room area from the beds made it very spacious. It was large enough to get a workout in. There were two TVs—one was retro and awesome. The water was super hot! Price for 2 nights is unbeatable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The ice machine on floor 3 was broken down, so I had to go to the first floor every time. The lack of luggage carts made trekking things back and forth annoying. The Key cards would suddenly stop working. For some reason, even with the AC running, it was super hot in the hotel, and I would wake up sweating, which is not typical for me.

The Room was Exceptionally Big,, Very Clean, Loved the two Separate areas with the 2nd. TV my Son was Elated!! The Beds were So Very Comfortable and The Separate Sink and Vanity with the stool for getting ready outside The Bathroom that had a separate sink, tub/shower, toilet was Very Nice and convenient!! Even My Dog 🐕‍🦺was So happy when I took her off the leash she did a lap around the room while smiling 😁 bc she's So used to these dinky rooms Everywhere...... LOL 🤣

Nothing At ALL I Even Extended Another Night!!

My stay was extended by 6 days! For the value, you get a lot such as a very large room, king-size bed, a kitchenette that involves a small coffee maker, fridge, sink, and microwave. In the back of the building is a dog run/park. Each floor had vending machines that had a change in drinks or snacks it was worth a check out if you need a walk or want to explore. I brought my little fur baby and the Front Desk / General Manager was able to discount the price due to the size of my pet.

Housekeeping can be difficult; I requested for housekeeping to come on 2 different occasions at the front desk as my initial request was not fulfilled per the front desk stating they were limited on staff my request was to change bed sheets, towels, and trash. They never came which is very difficult for the 3 mini-size trash cans. The pool and spa area were not available during my stay, and the fitness center looked like they weren't cleaned after each use. The room that I was in had a bathtub that didn't properly drain, and the socket plugs were iffy (when you plug something in, it just comes out so some of the lights or lamps were not able to properly work for their intended purpose). Some of the exiting doors weren't locking which allows patrons to enter the building without key cards.

so close to the airport just 8 minutes away, we rented a car so the free parking was important! the room was very spacious and the kitchenette was perfect we needed that fridge and microwave. the bed was good but we had to ask for an extra blanket. I liked the free tea facilities.

vending machine is a lil pricey, but that makes sense. the shower head is hard to use, and the TV has like no channels, but that's grand. I didn't know you have to pay a $75 damage deposit, but I hope we see that return as we kept the place very clean.

These are big rooms and overall very comfortable. I loved the little kitchenette area and separate living room. It's definitely dated and I think they're going to be remodeling it soon. It is a great value right now and considered a budget hotel. Hopefully they won't raise the prices too much! There is no food service so don't expect that. It used to be a Shilo inn.

They seem to be severely understaffed. Check in took longer than it should have and I was ignored and interrupted by phone calls while I was trying to check in. There was nobody else at the desk but one poor girl. I always feel annoyed with owners when they don't hire enough people and it's just not safe for one person to be running a big motel front desk like that. * And, when I left my charger the manager never returned my phone call or sent me my charger as I requested. I was disappointed in the lack of follow-through with the forgotten charger.

Large upscale hotel on Airport Way 2 MI from PDX so easy car return. It was a 2 bed suite with a separate seating area with large chairs, bar counter, microwave, half fridge, all very clean. Really lovely. Upon entry, there is a large dressing table area with a sit-down makeup spot with a sink and then against a large bathroom with a grab bar for safety.

All was great, and when I was cold in my room initially because the air was set to 60, they brought a comforter.
