Everyone except the person that worked at breakfast station was exceptionally nice and welcoming, I don't know what was going on with this woman that made her have such a bad attitude, she was not friendly or helpful at all but my husband and myself were so impressed by how everyone else seemed to make sure we enjoyed our stay there that we didn't let her interaction with us impact how we felt about our stay there, if we ever visit Charleston again Fairfield Inn University is where we will stay.

Other than the rude lady that ran the breakfast buffet there was nothing that we didn't like and we didn't let her rude behavior and negative attitude deter our feelings about how much we enjoyed our stay at your place.

Staff was super friendly and engaging. Everything was clean, like not even water scale build up on the faucets. The card in the room said Sharon was the last person to clean the room we stayed in, and she left little details like the kleenex were folded into a fan shape sticking out the box. Bed was super comfortable, especially after a long day of early morning travel, then exploring and shopping. This will be our go-to for overnight stays visiting our college kid at Charleston Southern University.

My only complaint is the hallways were warm & stuffy. I certainly didn't expect our room to be as nice due to this, but I was completely proven wrong.

The pillows were soft. The room we stayed in was just right for me, my husband, our daughter, and her best friend. The location was exactly what I wanted.

The air conditioner came on and went off. The thermostat said 64 degrees, but it was warm at different times during the night. It made it uncomfortable and hard to sleep (it was also loud). There were no cereal options for breakfast or white milk (only had chocolate milk).

Friendly staff and great location for both City of Charleston and the plantation area.

Breakfast could have had more and varied options. Since we eat oat meal and waffles it worked for us.

The hotel was very clean, it had a safe environment. A great location with shops/stores nearby. Location of food and gas stations near by. The main tourist beach is only less than 49 mins away from here. They had amazing customer service.

There was nothing that I didn’t like.

I liked how it was close to most of the fast food restaurants, & overall it was a very quiet hotel, except for a couple of minor things. The parking for guests was great, because you didn't have to worry about parking too far away from the entrance.

I didn't like the fact that you could hear every single vehicle that was going down the road, & one other guests tv, when the website said it was soundproof. Also, the 2 days we were there, not one time did housekeeping ask if we needed anything.

I really loved the cleanliness of the lobby and of the room. The staff was very nice, helpful, and swift with our check-in. The room was clean and tidy.

There was not anything I can say I disliked about our experience.

They were very helpful with my wife and I. We are from Georgia and our son had been in accident in South Carolina. They let us check in early and a late. Check out. Housekeeper Ferinda was very friendly.

Loved the breakfast! And the location was great! Less than 30mins to downtown Charleston. My mother in law worked out. I slept most of the time.

I didn’t like that our room smelled . I can’t describe the smell it was when the air conditioner was off.

From the time we walked into the lobby, everything was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Bed was super comfortable.

Literally the only thing we didn’t like about our stay was the breakfast. it was all pre-packaged food and it was nasty! It tasted so bad we wound up throwing it away and going out to buy breakfast.
