The location was phenomenal. We were directly across the street from the site of civil rights sit-in's (the old Kress store is now an H&M), with easy access to the free bus shuttle that took us everywhere, and in walking distance of luxury stores, discount stores, restaurants, grocery stores, and banks. The apartment was clean and comfortable (though the decor could have more color), with the bed and shower making us want to stay forever.

I can only nitpick. The lock didn't work when we first arrived, but management fixed it quickly. And, the shower is to phenomenal (both the rain shower and the wand), but could use a soap dish.

Very spacious two bedroom, two bath unit was in a great central location south of Calhoun, directly on King Street and within walking distance of a great many shops and restaurants. The unit was very clean with premium kitchen appliances, stacking washer and dryer, large 55" wall mounted television, and fast wifi. The queen-sized beds were very comfortable with spacious closets in each bedroom and en suite bathrooms. A great place to stay while visiting Charleston!

Our deluxe unit was on the second floor facing King Street above a retail store. There was a lot of vehicle noise in general, but most noticeably in the morning starting at about 5:00AM from delivery trucks, garbage trucks, and street cleaning. Ear plugs recommended if you are a light sleeper. The smart lock entry into the building from the street was not working very well and required a lot of fidgeting to gain entry.

Fantastic location. Step outside your door and you are right in the middle of all the action. Property was clean, well appointed, and perfect for a family who’d like their own space to wind down in the evenings.

Parking was a bit of an obstacle. There is a parking lot very near the property on Society St. However, the cost to park there is $84 per day! We did locate the parking lot suggested by property management. It was much more affordable, but a good ways from the property. My sweet husband would journey out to get our car and come pick us up.

The room was great!! just had been renovated very nice, lots of room, was really surprised at how much room it had like unbelievable the kitchen was outstanding and shower was huge. Great location most everything in walking distance.

They had no parking lot had to pay 30 dollars a night to use public parking garage that was one block over. The shower was great but had no soap and shampoo holders maybe they haven't installed yet due to the renovation. Maybe they can work out a deal with the parking garage for a better price!

We very much liked the accommodations. The few points below are mostly suggestions. The location was good.

The showers are very big, but there is nothing to hold your soap and shampoo. There needs to be a shelf inside the shower. The single over the sink and mirror are not bright enough, the ceiling is so high you lose some light. I needed more light for shaving. There is a lot of noise in the street in early morning. Power washing sidewalks, trash pickup, and street sweeping.

The property was clean and well maintained.

One of the suites was overlooking King Street which had a lot of noise.

#202 is sooooo beautiful. Its not the loft we originally booked but we were not disppointed. It is like the large condo of your dreams. Really unbelievable. There was also a patio out back furnished with a dining table, seating area, and grill! Wish I cooked and that it hadnt been cold during our visit. The building sits on the main drag of Charleston but that was not really my scene (across from Apple store, next to Gucci store, 2 storefronts form Yves etc) but excellent for feeling comfy with early morning walks. honestly, unless I was running late for a tour everywhere is walking distance from this location. Love Ashley!!!!! She is so genuinely kind and helpful, a perfect human face for this hotel.

This is out of the control of the hotel but there is significant construction going on adjacent to the hotel. If you go down one stairwell it is absolutely filled with dust and debris. If you go down the other, you will never know. If you open the patio door, you will be shocked at how loud the construction is. The building itself is beautiful and the wood floors seem original, this may be why you can hear walking above you. Honestly, I didnt care because the beds are so comfortable that I slept as if in silence throughout the night.

I highly recommend The Quarters on King as a place to stay when in Charleston. It’s conveniently located in the heart of the tourist area and in walking distance to many attractions restaurants and shops. It’s also close to the stops for the free bus that takes you to many tourist destinations. The apartment was very large, very clean, a contemporary style with state-of-the-art appliances. Beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were clean and had a fabulous shower that was roomy with a rain shower head above and a 4-spray handheld shower head. We stayed in room 201, and if you have a party of 2-4, 5 if someone is willing to sleep on the couch, this is definitely where you want to stay. It will make your trip that much better.

It was just a bit noisy in the late evening since your on the Main Street, however it’s not really a distraction.

Spacious accommodations and convenient location to everything in Charleston. There are no amenities/food, etc so that is not applicable, but the apartment is very nice

It sits right on King Street so you need to be prepared for loud nightlife until at least midnight and early morning street cleaning and garbage pickup every day

Having a full unit with a kitchen was great for our family. The location was also very central and easy to get to everything.

While the sheets/towels etc were all clean, the rooms did seem to be a bit rundown (cracks & chips, mold in the bathroom) and there were very few things provided (no onsite staff, no housekeeping, teeny tiny toiletries); I wish this had been more prominently communicated before I booked. The hotel staff was also very hard to reach, which was an issue when the code to our room was changed last minute without telling us, the wifi didn't work, and we couldn't ask about a late check out.
